SC Remove all flags!!!

Removing the flags entirely is a bad idea. I pride myself on having bought every decoration, and a group of flags beside your townhall that is outside your castle really looks a lot nicer and let's snipers know you haven't booby trapped it. I'm fine with the idea that new flags can't be purchased because I have bought them all, but this might not be too nice for new players.

My last post was partly in reference to this.

Actually, it isn't hard to put a flag on any Town Hall. Just put a pole or three on the roof.

Talked about it before a long while ago, because someone thought it would be neat to put the flag decoration on a TH8 roof. Later it was agreed that several poles could be added, regardless of Town Hall level.

3-4 flags would be fine on a Town Hall, since it is kind of a speical case to NEED 6, 12, or more flags.

If you want a flag park, ask for big 5×5 decoration flag park blocks.

If you want field filler, ask for more decorations.

If you want something to show off (or look stupid?), ask for more expensive decorations.

The 'look stupid' part is to make light of people thinking it is a waste of gold (and sometimes gems) to buy so many flags (and statues). I don't mind. It's not my business to judge on what is a waste.

What they should do it allow you to buy only ONE national flag - then you can CHOOSE what country it displays.

That way every country can have a flag, and every base only has one.

This is a good idea but just one flag may be too restrictive, given how many bases I see that have like 10 flags. I would say to set a limit at, say, 3 or 4 flags.

I've suggested this before... Huh... somewhere.. in this forum..

Anyway, idea was to remove the national flags as-is, give 3-4 'national flag' decorations which can have thier style changed, and repurpose the other 20 some national flags slots with other flags. It is basicly server inventory shuffling, and will turn most flag parks into something less like a U.N. entry way, as peoples's flags would be shifted into something else. They already bought them, so they don't lose out on much of anything, since most players with flag parks buy them all as if it were an achievement anyway, or as a way to show there are no traps around thier Town Hall.

Still, to ease things even more, a 'Flag Event', where refunding flags at full cost for a week could also be done. That way (active) people won't feel like they lost anything in thier 'investment' of so many flags and can quickly adjust to the new setup.

As much as I hate to say it, SC should (actually NEEDS) to remove ALL national flags. Because SC implemented some but then realized they cause server issues, they stopped adding them. My suggestion if for SC to completely remove all the national flags. That way people wont continue complaining and asking for flags that are never going to come.

Tell me, how the hell does a decoration cause server lag?! Please, anyone, tell me your reason for your logic, and with some evidence that you know how computers operate.

I hate seeing new flag requests again and again. I dont think the flags should be removed. They should not be animated (maybe banners?)
And they should also cap the numbers of flags a base can have..
Flags on th is also a good idea.

So you hate seeing these threads.... So you decide to post your own? Instead of not reading and just skipping by... You make a thread complaining about other peoples threads? Very rarely is such complete and utter stupidity so vast as in this particular instance.let's get rid of the statues and flowers also why were at it! I'm sure someone out there doesn't like pekas much! The game revolves around what the players want not a player. People should be able to request what they would like to see then supercell decides if its viable or not. If it bugs you that much simply stop reading those threads!
