SC Remove all flags!!!

ok, I've got a UN theme going...3 more flags and I have the complete set. seriously.

i like them and want to keep them, but if the decision is made to remove and refund the gold, my storage won't hold the refund.

so do I just loose my flags and the gold?

Part of growing up is reading the entire thing, even if you quoted it. His first and main reason is that it seems clear Supercell can't/won't justify making more flags which is causing other issues...

But then you have an awkward situation where some players have something and others don't (and will want as evidenced by the threads) which I think Supercell would rather avoid. That feels like a band-aid solution, if Supercell is going to kill flags, kill them all.

Also, your solution is sounds good in theory but then do you know what the next epidemic of threads will be on right?

Which is why I don't think your solution would work to be honest. Credit for having one, but I think there is a better one (perhaps the one I suggested, perhaps one not suggested yet) that could be implemented.

And no matter how many times we explain it, another new guy just comes in and asks another request. I think the ruled out ideas should have explanations as to why they are ruled out so forum freshies can be directed there instead of people pummeling em to the ground with insults.

I saw a thread way back explaining most of the ruled out ideas, maybe that can be put in the stickies.

If the new guy with the repeated post is immediately sent there (one forum reply is giving him the link is enough), his post will quickly fade to oblivion since no one else is responding to him anymore, making way for fresh ideas that really nees to be debated.

Sounds like something else that should be added to the Newbie Catch idea I've got (in signiture currently), links to reasons why an idea is ruled out.

Been pushing the idea for awhile, with a forum function that catches and redirects a newbie hitting the Create New Thread button to an intro page to give them a run down of the rules in an unborning manner. It's more detailed than that, but that's the basics of it; a way to tell them what they really need to know, and not be ignored like it was a EULA popup.

Yeah, that other thread, Petition suggestions for a new thread (data gathering) isn't going too well. Been dropping heavy hints here and there, but haven't gotten much yet for a list. And with things sinking so damn fast, I might as well just private message a few regular forum goers and friend what should be put into the batch, instead of waste my time again on...

As much as I hate to say it, SC should (actually NEEDS) to remove ALL national flags. Because SC implemented some but then realized they cause server issues, they stopped adding them. My suggestion if for SC to completely remove all the national flags. That way people wont continue complaining and asking for flags that are never going to come.

2. You can keep your flag, except no knew flags can be purchased

Removing the flags entirely is a bad idea. I pride myself on having bought every decoration, and a group of flags beside your townhall that is outside your castle really looks a lot nicer and let's snipers know you haven't booby trapped it. I'm fine with the idea that new flags can't be purchased because I have bought them all, but this might not be too nice for new players.
