A Reasonable Solution to the "Heroes Usable in War while Upgrading" dilemna

    Hey guys,

This thread will serve as a follow up from the original post posted in the General section of the forums. Here is the link. Please take a look at the thread before voting.
    http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...rading-dilemna

Basically the idea is this: you pay a reasonable gem fee to "open up" your heroes for a clan war attack. As soon as you attack, your heroes go back to upgrade mode. I believe it is a nice compromise that will benefit both the developers and the players.

In order to make this poll as fair as possible, please only vote if you DO NOT gem your heroes for clan war attacks.

Hopefully you guys can help me catch the attention of the devs with this thread so that in the near future they might consider implementing something like this.

it's not about the gems on why SC hasn't done it yet

    it's not that they want
it's more of that, currently, they can't

I don't know if you actually read the replies on your own thread
but someone already pointed it out, it's coding problems on why they can't do it

it's up to you if you believe it or not though, I'm just saying that SC Staff has already commented on it (Official Statement)
maxed out TH9, minus the heroes
    kinda quit, Lurker mode: on

    Hi Jomar,

The point of this thread is not to vote on whether Supercell can implement this idea or not. We all know what Supercell has said in the Official Statement. It is to vote if you would pay a small gem fee to temporarily use your heroes in war.

If you make it something clan wars specific then yes it creates a lot of extra coding that needs to be done and some wierd edge conditions that would have to be worked out as Anoushka pointed out. But if you make it so that you pay some number of gems to make the hero available to use for one attack for either clan wars OR regular raids then I don't think any of those technical issues are still a problem. I expended on this idea in this post.

Depends on the gem fee. I would pay about 10 gems.

This is a great idea that definitely simplifies the coding q, thanks for the input.

Minimum of 150 gems per use, per hero, per war. Any less would not be enough for Supercell.

    I like this idea.
I hope that supercell be able to implement this feature in the game soon.

    MAGIC!

    No thanks

So if we're upgrading both heroes at the same time, you suggest spending 80 gems just so we can use them to attack? I veto

Where did you get the 80 gem number?
