• ABSTRACT VIEW
Have you ever tried to build a good layout and after placing most of your buildings you realized that it is not perfectly centered and/or you'll be lacking space to place that last camp, laboratory or whatever other building?

• PROPOSAL
This issue has an easy and useful solution: Give us the possibility of moving part of our layout or even the whole layout in order to place it where it pleases us the most.
It could be done by adding buttons just like the ones we already have, such as "Remove All" and "Erase mode ON/OFF" or by creating a selection box, so whatever buildings are selected, will be moved together to wherever we want to.

• PROS
→ Creating a layout will become easier and faster
→ More precision in village placement
→ Doesnt demand great efforts to be implemented

• CONS
→ None. Seriously.

I would go more with the idea of multi-selection. It seems to be the thing missed in the layout editor now. And while we're at it, why not add a "select all" option? that way your idea would bring fulfilled

Please don't self-bump your thread this many times, as it is extremely irritating for forumers who are posting new ideas only to get knocked down to the second page by old revived threads. Please check out devil9394's Village Layout Modifications thread as he has posted an overall request as to what forumers want most often with village edit mode. Yes, your thread is older than his, but he has covered this topic well as well.

Unlike adding a new flag of iran... this would require a new interface.. good idea.. but they do give a dot to start with in the center...
