I wonder how long before iOS 5 isn't supported? I'm surprised it hasn't happened already, but that is the end of my Clash of Clan days once I have to buy a new device just to keep playing.

just upgrade to a beter phone... I love my Samsung. there are other smart phones besides apple out there.

I prefer android over ios, but am too invested in the app store ($39+ worth of apps) already to justify switching right now. I don't yet have the money to both get a new device and replace my app library but inevitablely will when my ipod5g isn't supported anymore.

Watch the the video supercell posted on Facebook to determine the iOS or operating system you are currently using on your iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 isn't supported on iOS 8, but should upgrade past 5.1.1 to 7.1.2

It is not a yes or no question/answer. Your iPhone 4 will work if it's currently running a more updated version of iOS,(Not the newest) but you'll have to check and see what version your particular device is running.
