Barbarians start inside my walls. What am I doing wrong?

When my base gets attacked, sometimes barbarians are deployed inside my walls which makes them useless. What am I doing wrong?

So, the idea is like this... If you've got a section of your base walled off, and there's a space larger than 3x3 tiles in it (the size of a cannon or a gold mine, for instance) then the attacker can deploy troops there. In order to make it so attackers can't deploy troops inside your walls you have to make it so that there are no 3x3 or larger spaces inside your walls. That make sense?
If you need more of an explanation drop me a PM and you can drop by my clan for a bit to check things out.
    Cheers

When you place something down (other than decorations, or random bushes, rocks, or things that grow), that take up a certain amount of spaces, so you can not spawn on top of it. It looks like a white square (Red to enemies), you can see this when you place or move something for a second, or if you go into edit mode. What happened is that walls only prevent a small space of spawning, this is why you see bases filled up with stuff, or sometimes random parts of walls placed down, it is to keep people from spawning in walls. I would recommend you read the guide on setting up bases and defenses, it talks over all these things and gives some great tips.
