As a brand new TH9 with max'd TH8 defences, how would building a 4th AD impact on matchmaking, would it be worth it in terms of defending against TH8 dragon attacks for example?

I've heard it doesn't have a huge weighting in matchmaking and personally, I think it would help MASSIVELY in defending against TH8 drag attackers so if it were me, I'd build it... I'm not sure though, it's your choice...

I've been waiting for people to reply to this because my first thought was "don't do it, I get hit by GOWI__ mostly." But I didn't even think about dragons being able to tear through TH8 bases with CC loons. You could always try a few wars without the AD, change your layout a couple times, and then decide if it would be worth it for you to build or not. You can always wait, but you can never go back.

If you are looking to go the 8.5 path then first response is to wait on building any new defenses, and focus on walls/traps until you have 4 th9 camps and at least one lab upgrade is done. If you are one of the few th9's in your clan then honestly I would consider it. Think of it this way, if you had to attack your own base strength in war, could you three star it?
