At TH8, it's probably a good idea to lure as if you don't you'll need to bring a lightning instead, which leaves you with only 2 spells left over...
If it's an easy lure, bring giants, else bring hogs which will help clear some defences as well.

If you attacking another th8 then you don't need to lure. Just make sure you have your wizards behind your golem to kill the cc
I only do if I know or think they might have a witch in the cc.
You don't need to lure but you want to make sure your wizards engage and kill the clan castle fast, or it could ruin your attack.
If it's easy, I would. Why not just remove that variable altogether? Our most successful runs have pulled the CC. Not that you must, of course, but I would recommend it.
Basically you end losing 10 space for two Hogs and another ~15 for Archers.
Better lose a Pekka and not waste time.
Not worth it IMO. Raged wizzies/heroes get the job done plenty efficiently with a rage spell on top of them without slowing up your raid. GoWiPe is a quick-strike strategy. You're looking to overwhelm a half of the base with as much firepower as possible. Don't waste time and troop space dealing with clan castle units that said firepower is plenty capable of handling.
Not totally related but if you want to 3-star with gowipe, you want back end loons/hogs to deal with the defenses firing in on the core. Max level ones from a clan mate in CC will do a lot to boost your attacks.
