Ok so based on the +- 200 cushion in the matchmaking ...would you say it is totally normal for say a level 47 to be matched up with a level 105 or a level 91 in a battle or for a level 105 or 91 to attack a level 47 if they come within the + or - 200 trophies?
Obviously, the level 105 & 91 are so much more advanced in defense & obviously have dropped trophies...there is noway a level 45 can compete with their level 9 townhall, maxed out defenses, level 5 of all troops lol....but is it the norm for the game since those levels dropped their trophy count down and it is soley based on trophies?

Yes. It's perfectly normal. You're right there is no way a level 45 can compete with someone with maxed out defenses, etc, etc... That's the point. That's why you should be matched up with them. It should not be possible for you to rise to the top because artificial controls are put in place that keep people with stronger bases from attacking you.Originally Posted by Woz911

Not sure I even understood your response dah and I read it 5 times and so did several of my clan mates...what we gather you are saying is it should not be fair for a level 47 to rise to the top of their trophy level and expect to find a matching player with the same trophy level and compatible village?
Buuuuuut it is ok for a level 105 & 91 who payed for everything and has payed to max out everything to drop down out of their trophy level to some absurd level to attack a level 47????
In this case the member in my clan, not moi, who is level 47 ..to me is right where he should be trophy wise at 1300... He did not rise above to some crazy trophy level...he was attacked by a level 105 who should be on average around 3200 to 3400 trophies who drops down to 1300 to avoid having to fight players of his own strength.... Again he is maxed out in everything, all level 5 troops and you are saying it is normal & fair for the level 105 & 91 but that the level 47 is in the wrong????
We are all for challenging battles and we have no problems batttling villages within our trophy range or even higher with compatible villages. But really the level 105 & 91 is in their wrong trophy range!!!! Lol
Correct me if I am wrong in that is what you conveyed in your reply....

All that matters is trophies. That's it. That is what determines rank. People with better bases whether they paid for them or not deserve to be able to gain more trophies. That is what upgrades get you. If all upgrades did was cause you to be matched with other upgraded bases, that would suck. It would take all of the incentive out of upgrading your base.
I'm not saying either player is in the wrong. I'm saying that if you can win the trophies, you deserve them regardless of what the disparity is between the attacking and defending base.

And all I am asking is if the matchmaking in this game is set up so a player of that level 105 or 91 can be matched up with a level 47 even tho the villages are worlds apart??? I see so many being condemned for going way above their trophy level and told drop down to their trophy range but I never see the high level players staying in their trophy range lol...seems logical for everyone to stay in their trophy range and fight their own...or go higher and fight stronger people....I personally never attack lower, most of my battles are higher because I can get more trophies!!! Also its more competitive!!
Just trying to examine how this all works, because unlike my clan mate, I am well above where I should be trophy wise, Level 48... 2345 trophies...but yet I see no attacks or matchups with level 105s or 91s...highest I think I ever saw was 60...thats why I simply asked if it was normal...

Give up on the concept of trophy range as being tied to level. People should play how they want. Low level trophy chasers are being condemned because they shoot for the sky with weaker bases and then come on the forums to whine about it when they get the smack down by someone who is more powerful.
Honest question, how can I unsubscribe or block any and all posts about hayday? When I check the "what's new" button, I am instantly bombarded by posts about muffins, ponies, etc.
