The Problem Of Wrong Donations

Hello all, I don't know if this idea was requested before, but I am tired of those funny guys donating stuff, that has been never requested.

So, why can't we CHOOSE, what we want in our clan castle to avoid wrong donations?

For example: If you request Wizards level 5+ ONLY, other players can NOT donate something else. You also could choose something like "Everything from level 5", "Only dark troops". I think this would be a good solution.

The game does not need some mechanism to prevent unwanted donations. That is not the problem. The problem is you have terrible clan mates. Two simple solutions already exist to solve this problem.

Option 1. If you are clan leader then kindly remove the knuckleheads who don't read your reuest.

Option 2. If you are not clan leader then find a better clan.

I have not had your problem in the 5 months I have been in my current plan. I always get exactly what troops I request.

I (and likely most new leaders) had this problem early on too. It created quite a bit of dissention among the clan members. I made a clan rule to ONLY donate what was asked for or be booted. Know what happened? I ended up booting three or four people that day. A few things happened after that. 1) wrong donations ended instantly, 2) my clan members not only benefited but they gained trust that I was invested in protecting them from parasitic players 3) my co-leaders felt empowered to act on bad behavior instead of waiting for me to do it.

In a very short time our core of solid players became a solid team BECAUSE OF BOOTING PEOPLE. Expecting a new game feature to filter unwanted behavior means you will still have the type of people in your clan that you don't want around. They will just be grumpy that they can't drag you all down in that specific way. Trust me. These sorts of people will find a way to drag you down. It is best to identify them quickly and be rid of them as soon as possible.

So I for one am against SC programing a donation filter. It would prevent me from identifying undesirables quickly so I can boot them efficiently. This would be bad for my (and most other well lead) clans.

I don't like this, some noob could come into the clan and only ask for dragons. Them noobs and their dragons.
