If account is linked, remove CONFIRM requirement?

Right now, it is extremely annoying to switch between accounts on the same device, because we have to type in all caps (on a touch screen keyboard) CONFIRM every single time. The only way this confirmation is really needed, is if a person hasn't already linked their account.

Would it be possible for the game to detect whether your village is already linked, so that we can bypass this warning switching between already established villages/accounts and therefore speed up the process greatly?

It has been a while since I looks at the TOS, but I'm pretty sure it states that you are only supposed to have one account per device. While we android users CAN switch between them I don't believe it exactly fits within the rules. I myself have three devices and three accounts. I do switch between them on each device to fit my whim at the moment but since it is technically against the rules I don't think SC will give this request any consideration at all. That is unless they plan on (or have already since I last read it) officially allowing multiple accounts and changing their TOS. For now they are more likely to ban one or both of your accounts if you draw attention to violating the TOS.

This is the first I've heard of it being against the rules to have more than one, considering I've seen so many people do it and I've never heard of anyone being banned for it. I mean, I know someone who has access to like five ids.

That said, I have a device for each account, but there are times when I only have access to one device at any given time so switching is required.

We talked about the ToS issue in another thread last week. The way the ToS is worded, it basically says that it's not supported to have multiple accounts, but it doesn't explicitly say that it's not allowed. Since it's not supported, I don't think they'll feel any obligation to make it any easier.

But yeah, it's annoying. Luckily, on my Samsung S4, my autocorrect has CONFIRM as the default first choice whenever I type anything now.
Dragons: You either love them or hate them. Well, or maybe both... Or maybe you don't care...
Regardless of how you feel about dragons, please see this suggestion for Rebalancing Town Hall 7, which is primarily focused around rebalancing dragons.

Thanks for clearing that up Xitra.

I too have never heard of anybody being banned for it. I don't think SC really has a way to track and prove it reliably so I doubt they waste any time trying to. Then again, not many people besides you and me come out and publicly admit to it either. There are plenty of little kids who come here complaining, and parents complaining that their little kids are seeing uncensored global chat. Even though the TOS clearly states that 13 is the minimum age I don't think SC has used forum posts to ban those accounts either. Unless you/we give them reason to scrutinize us we are probably safe.

Again though, with Xitra's clarification I doubt they will take any action because it is officially unsupported. Inconvenient for us, but at least we don't have iphones!
