Downgrade dragons or upgrade P.E.K.K.As

I have thought P.E.K.K.As are best elixir troops but no dragons can crush my anti-dragon TH 8 village without any problems. It seems odd when i tested do p.e.k.k.a rush with only p.e.k.k.as i can eventually get only 1-2 stars from TH 8 villages cause p.e.k.k.as wander randomly killing themselves or just wasting time. I also tested dragon rush with my lvl 2 dragons and could destroy almost any TH 8 village, cause dragons seems to move smarter than lvl 3 P.E.K.K.As (they destroy some defences and attack straight to TH when pekkas destroy wall next to TH and go destroy gold mines or something even there is closest and straight way to TH). This is quite annoying.

This is makes clan wars almost impossible to win when there is 8 players with TH 8 against us 3 players with TH 8. Cause they can dragon rush easily 3 stars from every our villages. I think there should be something to protect better from dragons, like air defences do 1,5-2x damage to them. It would make quite difference and people might use other troops as well as dragons.

I whine from this cause I want some challenge when attacking and some chance when defending. It seems nobody can defend against dragons with TH 8 well and can destroy any TH 8 with them.

This is also sad cause lvl 3 dragons cost 25k and I can use 10 = 250k attack. And lvl 3 P.E.K.K.As cost 40k and full camp holds 8 = 320k. So cheaper and easier way to win all fights is use dragons.

I hope there would be some difference with these, cause it seems most expensive troops are just stupid tanks and there is no any reason use them.

TH8 can easily defend against dragons.
Dragons are only OP at TH7.

If all your air defenses are lvl 6 then you need to work on placement.

Using dragons to get 3 stars against a maxed TH8 with an anti-dragon base layout is hard, especially if you don't have level 6 balloons in your clan castle. If your TH8 bases are getting 3-starred that easily, either your defenses need some upgrading, or your base layout needs some changes, or you're just facing really skilled players.

That said, pekkas weren't made for doing a mass attack, like dragons were. Pekkas are a support/cleanup troop. As part of a mixed army, they can be fanstastic. Whether you only bring 1-2 pekkas, or 5-6, you can 3-star pretty much any TH8 with pekkas. What matters is the other troops in your army, and how you deploy them.

Also, if you have a maxed TH8, and you're matched against an early TH9 with a 4th AD, those dragons will be a 2-star army at best. You'd be better off trying something like GoWiPe. So Pekkas are quite strong at TH8.
