    Solving the ♥♥♥♥♥ing in Clan Wars

    So.. to first start out I'd like to say this is NOT my idea. I was looking in the comments of OneHive Raids (Jake from OneHive) and it was his idea. I thought I'd bring it to you because the idea might be forgotten.

    One thing he said was that during CW, to stop simulating all traps, hidden teslas, and CC troops are hidden unless going into the opposing clan to see the traps, teslas, etc. Now, that may seem hard to do but theres another thing he said.

    There should be no 30s to plan your attack. When you hit the "Attack" button you should have to start attacking and theres no backing out. Now I know that theres a problem where you always need a second to get ready so there should be an extra 5s added to the attack time during CW. If you decide to back out you lose. You have the "Scout" button to plan your attack.

    So, what do you think? As I said, this was NOT my idea. This was from a clash youtube.

    That does not solve the problem. Going in and backing out of an Attack before the timer or first drop of troops doesn't reveal anything just like if you scouted his base from the outside.

    Kind of agree. Either I'm not understanding what OP is trying to say, or it's just a pointless idea (no offense). We can scout as much as we want no matter what, so why remove the 30s prep time?

    Didn't really think of it as a feature request.. more if a solution to a problem so I put it here, mods can move it if they want to anyway.

    Traps are non existent until the attack button is pressed, people can find them using ♥♥♥♥ during the 30s. If you remove that and say when you hit the attack button you have to stick to it, it makes it easier.

    This will stop ghosting but it won't stop people using bunnies in the sand.

    Bunnies don't use the attack button, they scout.

    Makes sense. It's hard to hide them from a m0d that would be able to 'un'hide them, however. Programmatically, it's a nightmare. They would have to wait to request the position of all traps until the battle starts, which opens up more room for error. Also, m0ds would most likely just be able to invoke this loading without the battle even starting. It's a giant game of cat-and-mouse, and while I hate all the m0d$ and ch3at$ and fluffy bunnies, trying to stop them would make the clash experience even worse for us. (Imagine having to enter a captcha before you could go raid.) You do bring up good points, but unfortunately, SC is very unlikely to implement them.
