    Elders? Co-Leaders? WHY!?!?!?!

    Here's the deal.

There are a lot of people in many clans, but the trouble is knowing which ones to trust, and also what you can trust them with.
Having Co-Leaders and Elders helps a lot, but sometimes there are some people who you really want to trust as an Elder. There is just a few things you are afraid they may misuse as an elder!!

My Proposal is this. Why not give the Leader the ability to revoke and give privileges Instead of ranks. This way, one person may be able to kick and invite, while the other is only able to invite. Another will be able to change the clan flag, but not be allowed to kick, while the other can kick, and the other cannot change the clan flag. Of course I see some flukes in this idea, but that is why I'm asking you guys if this would be a good idea and what can be done to fix the little problems with this idea.

How about no? Ranks are fine. Elders barely get anything anyways. The way it is now is perfectly fine.

The problem with this is that right off you are thinking wrong about the promotions. They are not friendship rings or door prizes.

Coleader should only be a job (with real responsibilities) that a person is hired for. The total management structure of a clan should be no more than 5 people, one leader and 4 co's. In a 50 person of the clan that is 10% that are management which is pleanty enough to handle that.

Elder can be anyone that has enough common sense not to invite and promote every tom ♥♥♥♥ and harry. For us we give it after participation in one full war. Miss an attack as elder is a demotion. Miss an attack as member and is a kick. That seems to be a workable system for keeping track of guys. But different leaders can use it different ways since elder is not a management role.

As far as promoting guys just because you trust them that is just stupid. its the other way around, if you don't think you can trust them they should not even be member.

Anyone that says they need to be given a promotion (or anything else ) in order to stay the best response is to kick without even replying. That guy is not into the clan (and after you give him promotion he will want another, and then what?) if he thinks that way so you are improving the clan be removing him. And kicking without even replying helps make it clear that your clan is a team being managed, not just a kids clubhouse. (your good players will be glad to see that and be more likely to stay)

One change I do think the structure needs - My 2 cents worth is that even member should be something that guys get promoted to and that all new joins start as new. New has the same non powers as member the difference being that new also cannot see traps in bases nor war log. That makes member the place you can have guys you don't trust yet, but have no reason to distrust yet either.
