Let TH9ers upgrade their Peks to level 4.

This has always bothered me, especially for someone who likes to GoWiWiPe a lot.

The current requirements for upgrading pekkas are:

Level 1 - Laboratory level N/A

Level 2 - Laboratory level 6, TH8

Level 3 - Laboratory level 6, TH8

Level 4 - Laboratory level 8, TH10

Level 5 - Laboratory level 8, TH10

Now, why is there a massive gap between level 3 and 4 pekkas?

By that, I mean, why do TH9ers have to wait until they have a TH10 just to upgrade their pekkas by one level? Going from TH9 to TH10 is a long process and I know this from personal experience (my TH9 base is almost maxed out). So my suggestion is to change the current requirements of upgrading pekkas to this format:

Level 1 - Laboratory level N/A

Level 2 - Laboratory level 6, TH8

Level 3 - Laboratory level 6, TH8

Level 4 - Laboratory level 7, TH9

Level 5 - Laboratory level 8, TH10

This will give TH8s something to look forward to more when they're upgrading/about to upgrade their TH to level 9.

Personally, I want this as well, being a new th9. But there is a balance about how long each th's lab upgrades take. Currently th9 is in front, and adding another upgrade wouldnt help. Personally, if theyre going to add an upgrade to th9, make it goblin level 6, no one uses it at th10

There is no need to balance it because upgrading from a TH 9 base to a TH 10 base is a long process that takes a lot of time and resources (except for those rushed THers lol). I agree with the goblin part. I rarely see any TH10ers using goblins in their raids.

Indeed. They are rapidly destroyed within a matter of seconds, especially when they are targeted by a bunch of lvl 7 teslas clustered together.

This is the reason I stopped using PEKKAs, they're too weak at town hall 9.

Supercell can also do something similar with drags, there's no upgrade option at town hall 9.

I really don't understand why people think "balance" is a good argument. It's a strategy game; that sort of balance isn't necessary. It's not as if you have to upgrade everything that you have access to.

THe questions are is PEKKA 3 strong enough for TH9 (not really against high TH9s as you point out, and definitely not when trying to 2 star early TH10s), and would PEKKA 4 be OP (no)

My TH9 base is almost maxed out. I only got some air traps, two troop upgrades (just lvl 2 & 3 lava hound and excluding heroes) and walls to upgrade left. Everything else is maxed out. If I was impatient, I would have upgraded my TH to level 10 a long time ago. I'm just chillin' atm.

You're probably a TH10er who doesn't want this suggestion to be implemented because that would make your base more vulnerable to 3 stars
