that doesn't even grammatically make any sense. much less in-game sense.
max defense th9 -- pushing walls
mid defense th9 -- pushing defenses -- throwing elixir at walls
mid defense th7 -- pushing offense
mid defense th7 -- pushing offense

Well, it turns out this idea was also previously posted and is in the pinned thread. But, I will respond so as to make it clearer what I was trying to suggest.
I am talking about a regular, multiplayer battle...when I attack you and get at least one star, I get a bonus (size depending of which league I am in). If I don't get a star, I don't get anything. But regardless, you get nothing. I'm suggesting that if you have taken the time and resources to build up good defenses, get rewarded when you defend. You should get the league bonus reward for successfully defending. Pretty simple
It could be contingent of there being some type of damage done aka dropping king onto a builder hut before surrendering would trigger reward for defender but not simply dropping into and open area and surrendering in order to drop trophies.

Yup there is such a thing. It's called leagues. You win your defense, you get more trophies. More trophies means higher league. Higher league means more loot bonus. Implementing this makes no sense.
Isn't that ruled out?
