    Why wouldn't supercell want to add this feature?

    I had an idea for something that should be implemented into this game.

    Instead of donating people what's available in your army camp. When you go to donate something to your clan mate you just click the troop and pay elixir on the spot regardless of whether or not you have that troop trained. This would encourage people to donate more and better troops than just the normal barb or archer.

    My question is what are the flaws with this idea and is there a way it could be improved?

    Wrong subforum, but I think this is a great idea. Supercell should implement this, people would donate a lot more. But sometimes people gem troops for donating, and because of that I don't think it's going to happen.

    This is a great idea. I usually train garch so I don't have wiz or drags with me. Wrong Sub Forum but still a great idea

    I like the idea but this doesn't take into account the amount of time it would have taken you to cook this troop for donation. Often in high level trophy pushing clans troops are gemmed for donation to save time if supercell allowed you to skip the cook time they would potentially lose revenue. If supercell were to implement this feature i could see them doing it more as a feature that costs gems rather than just elixir.

    They would lose revenue but it would make the game more fun.

    This would be incredibly overpowered.

    A strong clan could basically continuously donate gowipe armies to one another almost INSTANTLY if they are a very active clan. You could raid almost non-stop and pull in so much resources so fast. This is not how SC intended us to play the game. They want us to feel the slowness and wait long for armies to build so that we boost and spend gems in general.

    This would totally mess up their profit margin by greatly decreasing gem usage.

    Bad for SC, which eventually equates to bad for players (less money coming in, so less frequent and quality updates to the game, etc.).

    Can't really see the supercell executives sat around a table saying well we will lose revenue but the game will be more fun.....Lets do it

    I can see them saying we could allow players to press a button that allows them to quickly donate a troop to a clan mate and we can charge them the gem cost of both the build time and the elixir cost
