Clan Wars opt in/out default

Hi All...apologies if this has been raised elsewhere, I haven't seen it:

regarding Clan wars opt in or out feature. The default setting is Opted IN, problem is any player who goes inactive for a few days or longer is still opted in, and still gets selected for wars.

It would be a massive help if after wars the default setting was Opted OUT then only active players will opt in.

Personally it is the persons responsibility to manage his profile better - it is very discourteous to be inactive knowing other people may rely on him and with one tap he could solve this problem. IMO they should be booted for not obeying house rules.

Secondly COs and Leaders should have a good idea of who is going to be active in war and who is not and can overwrite the opt in/out option where they see fit.

You are talking about what's good for you. But what about other clans that run differently so that is bad for them. There are even some clans that have asked for everyone to be opted back in.

There should be no automatic opting either way at all because that is forcing a single choice how to operate onto all clans.

However, here is a way that everyone could get what they want. If you agree with this approach add your support to the thread on it.

I agree with rwelshjr - there should be no auto opt out. But There should be more flexibility for leaders to reset everyone to out if that is what works best for the clan.

Its not always down to discourtesy... We had a guy whose kid was taken into hospital and he didn't go online for 2/3 days. he opted in by default, didn't turn up (very understandably and no complaint at all) point is with the other option he would have opted out by default. Don't forget not all clans are on the game 24/7.

Maybe a better way would be for Clan Leaders to be able, after every war, to single click opt everyone in or out depending on the clan preference. that would be fairly simple to implement I suspect?
