I wouldn't say this has been exactly ruled out and if so sorry, remove it, but I was thinking of the idea of having an optional weekly random war, so you can only participate in it once a week to prevent it being spammed. You are partnered with teammates and enemies of a similar skill, (taking into account level, league, townhall and loot spent on your base) and you do a 40vs40 war with randomly selected teams. No troop donations. No clan castle troops. Just pure war. The max you should be able to win should be around 50k elixir and gold and 500-750 dark elixir. This should be possible as it gives lower ranked players not in a clan the chance to experience what war is like and give them a better chance of doing well in a clan rather than getting complaints against them for maybe only getting 1 star in a clan war when they did not know what to do.
