    Clan wars number of stars per base

    In clan wars there seems to be an issue with the number of stars awarded for an attack. If you take 50% with TH it is the same as 99% with TH (two star), if you take just TH it is the same as 99% without TH (one star).

    A potential solution would be to increase the number of stars to 5 or 7 or more and keep the TH worth just one star.

    If it were 5 stars total, one for TH and one for each 25% destruction, a 50% two star in the current system would turn into a 3 out of 5 in the potential new system. 60% of possible stars instead of 67%. A th snipe would be 1 out of 5, 20% of possible stars and a 99% would be 4/5 or 80% of stars. More stars helps weight the destruction percent as more important than the TH.

    TH is still important in this system, but not so critical as it is now. If it were more stars total, the TH value becomes less. This change could apply to only clan wars or across the board without much (any?) negative impact to the general gameplay...

    The point is, you either smash them with the 3* or just beat them with the 2*/1*. I think the star system works just fine as it is.

    Disagree 1* would be easy to accomplish - thus giving you a loot bonus as a dead certain it would be effortless even for tier 1 troops. Stars should be hard to accomplish that is the point of clan wars. Giving more stars makes a mockery of the game. If anything it should be 1* for town hall 1* for 75% and 1* for 100%

    Good point that 1* would be too easy. Trying to make town hall less important and stars harder to achieve, not jsut make stars easier to achieve. I think saying more stars makes a mockery of the game is a little hyperbolic, but this is the internet after all.

    How about 1 star for 50%, 70%, 90%, and 100% plus one for TH. In this system the TH+50 which is currently 2/3 (67%) of the stars would only be 2/5 or 40%. Even more weighting on the high end.

    The whole idea of this change would be to make high percent attacks more valuable than lower percent, but not change much else.

    i like this idea, and think it should be on a 5 star system with bonus loot only awarded with a 3/5 star win. Star system as follows:

    25% - 1 star
    50% - 1 star
    75% - 1 star
    100% - 1 star
    th - 1 star

    This 3/5 star award system would be better in my opinion because u would have to have at least majority damage to receive bonus loot as the only way to get it would be 75% destruction or 50% with th. I have always thought it was a little cheap to be awarded bonus loot just because u destroyed the th even if u destroy less than 10% of the village. This would also be better for clan wars because an attack that destroyed 75% of the village should be worth more than an attack that destroyed 50%. As it is right now 90% destruction is rewarded the same as 50% and it flawed. Also, why not award a star for completely defending your base (0 stars)? I always thought that needed to be implemented.

    The simple solution is to award the bonus only if 2 stars are achieved.

    In regular matchmaking, 1 star would effectively be a draw. Nobody should lose (or win) trophies, the attacker doesn't get the league bonus. You could still snipe a TH for an easy win, IF you can also get 25% of the base. For people with TH exposed, getting 25% of a base against the same TH level as yourself should be pretty easy, even if the TH is trapped. Easier than barching for 50%. This would also effectively prevent TH5's (maybe even TH6's and TH7's) from getting into Champions on TH snipes. Sure, it's cute, but it just shouldn't be possible.

    For war, a star is a star. As for the loot bonus, award it at 2 stars out of 5, which would effectively be the same as the current system.
    Dragons: You either love them or hate them. Well, or maybe both... Or maybe you don't care...
