In clan wars there seems to be an issue with the number of stars awarded for an attack. If you take 50% with TH it is the same as 99% with TH (two star), if you take just TH it is the same as 99% without TH (one star).
A potential solution would be to increase the number of stars to 5 or 7 or more and keep the TH worth just one star.
If it were 5 stars total, one for TH and one for each 25% destruction, a 50% two star in the current system would turn into a 3 out of 5 in the potential new system. 60% of possible stars instead of 67%. A th snipe would be 1 out of 5, 20% of possible stars and a 99% would be 4/5 or 80% of stars. More stars helps weight the destruction percent as more important than the TH.
TH is still important in this system, but not so critical as it is now. If it were more stars total, the TH value becomes less. This change could apply to only clan wars or across the board without much (any?) negative impact to the general gameplay...
