Amaizing new idea that will blow ur minds!!!

ok guys well i was just chillin and then i had this amaizing idea for a new trap I believe that they should make a lightining rod trap that diverts lightining spells so u can put it by ur dark elixer storage this will also help with the new incoming feature of being able to lightining gem boxes it shouldnt defend too big of an area or it would be over powered but i think this will solve many of out problems.

lightining spells used to destroy our clan castle troops
and lightining spells used to destroy defenses and heros

please everybody share ur thoughts on this i personally thought it was brilliant

You know why it's a no?

One of the 5 spells will be entirely useless. Yes, the Lightning Spell.

Think about what your idea will be. Double-check if it will benefit you, the others, or both.
If this was implemented then anyone who attacks a base with Lightning Spells and that base had this "trap", the spell will be ENTIRELY USELESS. That goes to everyone including you. What do I mean about this? Read the lines below:

If you had this "trap" on your base and someone with Lightning Spells attacks you, the attacker's spells are useless and you are protected from heavy damage by the LS's. Benefitted!

If you attacked someone with Lightning Spells and he/she had the same "trap", your spells are useless, too. His/Her base is also protected from heavy damage. Not benefitted!

So, you're still going for this idea?

I should add on to this...

Let's make this lightning rod a supercharged tesla that, when it collects the electricity from the lightning spell, it sends out thousands of bolts of electricity to attacking troops, killing every single unit on the ground. This will effectively make the lightning spell next to useless! Oh, and it also increases the defending hero's strength, speed, and size tenfold for the entire duration of the raid.
