Don't worry, you can do it! Those 200 cups, try to make them in 8 hours until server kicks you, that is the easiest way.

From crystal 3 took me 15 days approximately (based on my last defense win) as a TH7, I just needed to remember that there have beed TH3s who made it there before me.

Lolzlz I hope I am not in your revenge list though.

One piece of advice, the best time of the day to raid is from 6am EST-10pmEST

The easiest route for me was the 3150 zone, I lost less on defense by then since 3500 cup guys can already find me.

i managed champs last week from th9 with no heroes, no cc and used cheap armies 😄. i used a combination of bam/ giarch/ loonion in stages from gold 2 all the way to champions. upon reflection it was rather easy. some suggestions i have is dont bother attacking th10 unless its a snipe. prey on anything th9 and below. ideally anything th8 and below should be a 3 star even with the above strategies. this isnt difficult to do as their is quite a few th9's that hang around in masters.

dont bother having your town hall inside. have it out for the snipe you will be surprised how often you get sniped with full storages and full collectors. another idea is to have your dark storage outside. people dropping down or farming will take it and leave giving you big cup gains. for that keep your town hall in and have a min of 1k for them to take to make it worthwhile.

having heroes and cc for defence/offence is a bonus but there not needed. the best advice tho is dont attack unless you can confidently say you can at least 50%. nexting can be frustrating but its better than losing 30 cups. the whole time i was pushing i only got full on raided twice for my full storages and collectors which i had throughout as i started full and maintained it as i had nothing but heroes to upgrade. therefore if your a big cup target your probably getting hit, having tons of loot doesnt seem to make you more prone to attack as even those that gave me a snipe didnt bother to take my collectors. hopefully some of this was useful! good luck!

6 weeks you gained 200 trophies and still sitting on purple walls. Your wasting valuable game time instead of improving your base strength. You are hitting that Revenge button for hours instead of farming millions of loot for walls at TH9.
You can be done Town Hall 9 in under 3 months with full lavas if you farm in gold league. But if you want to spend another 6 weeks for another 200 trophies to get to Champs at TH9 instead of efficiently upgrading and having real fun with the rest, your call.


If you want a TH9 strategy, use 3 Golems and WiWiPe. 1 jump 2 rage and 1 heal. Attack furthest away from Inferno's Towers.

So you're saying that farming in gold I could manage to get the 1 bil gold required for full lavas and the ~200 for maxing defs? So, 1.2 bil gold in 3 months? 400 mil a month, or 100 mil a week, that comes out to 14 mil a day. What on earth? Is this is you play 14 hours a day barching with boosted barracks? I've never in my life managed more than a 10 mil day, and that was incredibly, pulling straight 14's daily for 3 months is incomprehensible.

And, I doubt it'll take 6 weeks to get there, at this rate I'll be there by the end of this season.

Topped out at 3067 last night, one snipe so I'm down to 3059, hoping to hit 3100 or 3115 today depending on how much play time I get. Going to try balloonian a time or two, but most likely going back to HoBarch given the training time and the luck I've had with it so far.

On a somewhat related note, I've heard from a few people that the farming in the 3800 range is heavenly, can anyone confirm or deny this? Given that's nearly another 800 trophies I have no idea if I can get there, may not have the time, but it's an interesting thought. My defense isn't maxed, but troops except golems and valks are, so I should be able to make my way up consistently as long as I can get in ~10 hits a day for a 1-2 star. May be slow, but is it worth it for the loot? I'm still definitely profiting from the loot bonus alone, but getting up into better loot range would be fantastic if it's there. I've seen a few massive raids (1.2 mil+) but haven't hit since I don't want to mess with a def-maxed base and lvl 40 heroes, other than that mainly in the 20k-120k loot plus bonus per raid.

You dont need to go that high,

To be honest You will see A LOT of maxed out TH10 bases in Champions with all their Storages OUTSIDE, yes on the edge of the base.

Its up to you if you can go for the resources and get 1 star at the same time.

Good to know, I appreciate the info. I'll get up there and see how it goes. I think with lvl 4 golems and a solid gowiwi I could manage to grab one star on a th10, might go with balloonian/lavaloonian, I'll have to practice.

Never been there, but good luck. It's good that you're going at a steady pace. Some of my Clanmates who have made it have said it gets really hard around 3100. Good luck.

This... is definitely starting to sink in haha. Made it to 3108 last night, got hit back to 3089 (some fully maxed th10 whooped me), then farmed back up to 3100, lost a 29 trophy raid, spend a while raiding and got back to 3095. Then another fully maxed th10 hit me for a full two stars and I lost 3 trophies, not sure what's up with that hella low loss but I dig it. Sitting on the 16 hour shield from his 92%, going to break it tomorrow morning and start grinding the trophies. These 200+ next's to find a reasonable hit is crazy though. I'm finding most def maxed (or maxed except for lvl 13 cannons) th10s with lvl 25-40 heroes, I'm not gonna mess with that.
