    Poll: What are the odds spell training time will ever be reduced/balanced?

    When I'm pushing nowadays I don't boost my barracks anymore, and instead only boost my spell factory. This is simply because I wait so long for spells that it's completely wasting my barracks boost.

    What are the odds that spell training time will be balanced with barracks time? (I know every army takes a different amount of time but for the most part I'm talking about gowipe/gowiwi/lavaloon)

    I have since quit clash about 5 days after upgrading to TH10. Half the reason I quit was the update, other half was that the game simply wasn't interesting to me anymore.

    It will happen when people stop paying $$$ to boost their spell factory. Why would Supercell decrease spell tines when it makes them money?

    Same thing with hero upgrade times...

    I think the barracks / spell balance is fine.

    Try to use only 1 spell a raid, if you need more - boost that factory and only boost half/no barracks.

    I have a hard time understanding the question. I come up with too many assumptions when trying to mentaly define the terms.

    It matches when I make a dragon army with 3 lightning spells, but not one spell matches with any Barcher army I make.

    Maybe ask for ½ sized spells, with half the duration to make?

    they already lowered it from before though

    When I'm farming with dragons, I do 8 dragons, 8 balloons. That's an hour and 16 minutes. I can match that with 1 heal 1 rage, but 3 lightning spells means I have to wait. Boosting doesn't help, because I typically boost all four barracks and the spell factory, so I still end up wasting time.

    With some spells, you can afford to bring a full load of spells, but only use 1-2 spells, meaning you have a shorter "reload" time. But with lightning, it's all or nothing (for dragons anyway).


    Most army compositions I've considered take about 1.5-2x as long to cook spells as the army. I think a simple solution (rather than waiting for the spell factory while your boosted barracks sit idle, or not using all spell slots) is to make the spell factory boost even better. Like, have an option to spend 20 gems to get a 6x boost. I'd do it in a heart beat. You're paying 10 gems to get 3x more performance, so what's another 10 gems to get an additional 2x performance?

    Having spells cook faster than your troops isn't really a problem, because you can queue troops to start cooking while you're out raiding. You have to wait until your raid is complete to cook new spells, so depending on how long you're hitting Next, and how long your raid is, your army could be halfway done by the time you can even start cooking new spells.
    Dragons: You either love them or hate them. Well, or maybe both... Or maybe you don't care...
    Regardless of how you feel about dragons, please see this suggestion for Rebalancing Town Hall 7, which is primarily focused around rebalancing dragons.

    Odds are 100% when you use gems. 0% when you don't. SC has to make money somehow. They chose to sell gems instead of charge for the game. I think they made the right choice.
