    Thumbs Up New trap: spike pit trap

    A pit with spikes at the bottom with leaves to hide it, this trap would be great for hogs, and other enemies

    Sound OK but...

    This is a bad idea. We already have spring traps and this would be the same thing. This is bad because if your last troop is about to get 1 star or 3 stars and boom, a pit-fall trap kills them and you lose 30 trophies. Its good in theory but not in practice.

    Would be cool if you could see your troops struggling to get out for about 10 seconds, so it only works temporarily

    Huh, Hog Riders have giant bombs to worry about. They don't need extra stuff. (more reply to this further down)

    This already happens. Giant bombs stop a single mob of most troops very quickly, giving the same results in some situations. So kind of a moot point.

    (more on original idea) A spike trap is just too gruesome. It doesn't fit the theme of the game, and mechanically us already done with said spring traps.

    Best to make up a trap that does something noticeably different than what currently is in the game. Also, it needs a good reason to be added besides 'it would be neat/cool'. No offence to 'cool', but it needs more than that to be added to CoC, like be an answe to a specific aspect of a raid.
