Prioritize queen over king

Queen is more important than king

she is also sexier

she will bake you cookies, king will just eat them and steal them the higher his level is

1.) I would prefer the queen because you can protect her and will have her available on most of the raids. The king is a tank and upgrading him also means that you will have him available less often because he nearly always gets killed.

2.) Calculate the training time of you army (for example 20 minutes). Then upgrade both heroes until they have a regeneration time of 60 minutes so they can be used every 3 attacks. Then upgrade your queen until 80 minutes so she needs 4 attacks to recover. Then upgrade the king until he needs 80 minutes and so on. Having a hero that takes 62 minutes to recover with a 20 minute army means you either can use him every 4 wars if he gets killed and have a regeneration time of 80 minutes or you wait for 2 minutes until he has recovered. This is extremely important for the king.
