I'll keep it brief. DE storages should be made out of lead, and (similarly to the P.E.K.K.A) receive half the damage that they normally do from Lightning Spells.

Less DE for the people that zap means that they have to either:
1. Gem DE for their upgrades (like I did to get my barb king at th7).
2. Focus on other upgrades and TH up to gain more DE pumps.
3. Or, dare I say it, learn to raid?

A newley upgraded TH10 like myself can either go to masters where the loot is good and get 2 started every time I check a text, go to crystal where the loot is average at best and still get raided constantly or go to gold where all the zappers live and can take 1.5k DE a pop.

If not a lead DE storage, maybe letting me take back more DE when I revenge these TH8s and give me a bonus somehow, or letting me attack them through their shields. If a lesser TH isn't scared to steal my DE they should be prepared to get revenged? This doesn't seem right.

I'm fully prepared for you to say "it's part of the game, deal with it" and if that's you're opinion I don't really care for 😊

the idea may be original but the complaint is repeated. There is nothing wrong with zapping.

you probably did not find other posts because like your post, the title tells you nothing. There have been suggestions to lower the damage by Lightning before.

Saying its a part of the game is completely redundant, and is the phrase of a complete idiot who should be ignored. If it wasn't a part of the game nobody would be complaining in the first place would they?

To the OP, this I think is one of the most plausible fixes, and yes it has been posted before.

Well from someone that actually raids to get DE I feel that there is something wrong with it, whereby a TH7 could take what I've had to sweat out to get simply by using some spells, without even beating my defences.

Seems unfair that I can spend all this time on getting my defences up which can do nothing to stop a level low

you are still too low. Once you get our defenses higher and your troops higher, DE will be easy to get. There is no issue with how the game is set up. You are just failing to see the big picture behind it.

Edit: Them using spells just to get DE is them spending 80K+ Elixir for a 100:1 trade off. Let them spend the Elixir to do that.

Go to Masters and get two starred....and raid a lot...
When a higher level comes and steamrolls my base, I have every right to zap him
Put your TH out...and dont trap it...

TH7's have very little DE as it is....youre saying they should go after TH8's? It would be pretty hard to beat a TH8 as a TH7....why not make the DE storage unavailable until TH8 then?

Still, I do think loot penalty should be removed from revenges......
That could be a possible fix....

If it's part of the game, there is nothing to criticize about it. Raiding is part of the game. Revenge is part of the game. Give me some constructive criticism about that. I want neither to happen to me, but it does.

That reasoning doesn't quite work. Loot bonus multiplier for hitting higher ths was removed specifically to make zapping less profitable. Since people on this thread seem to still think zapping is more profitable than raiding for it despite the higher de availability at lower ths it seems that end hasn't been achieved, thus there is a need to further reduce the profitability of zapping in my opinion (you could argue that the current profitability is balanced, but you cannot present the argument that you have as it is fundamentally flawed for obvious reasons, and past updates show that SC doesn't agree with you).

To give people an idea of my situation, I maxed TH9 with level 9 walls, TH on the outside for people to snipe, and got my TH to level 10 two days ago, with 90k DE sitting around in my storage. I get zapped so often that Id rather people raided me for it and stole it fairly, and gave me a chance to defend against it?

Th7's get less DE because they need less. It's hard for them to get 10k for a barb king, but it's also hard for me to get 100k for minions while they zap me?
