Better balance between elixir and gold spending

Elixir has become so hard to come by that even when doing 2 hr boosted raids you need to skip 10 to 15 times to get enough to cover the price of your army. I think this needs to be better balanced either making your troops with gold or less upgrades using elixir. Nothing like spending gems to boost only to spend 2 hrs skipping around trying to find something to raid that will barely cover your troop cost even when using mainly barbs and archers.

Till th 8, you can easily barch and get elixir. I'm a th 8 and my storage is almost always full (6m). Even at th 9, you can barch th 8 so elixir is not really a problem. You get average 250k elixir everytime as there's not much use of it as compared to gold. Plus it's usually only for lab upgrades which takes time so elixir keeps on increasing.
Yes, if you're a th 10, your troop cost is high and you cannot get elixir fast. But you can always use dark troops when farming elixir and normal ones when dark elix.

Are you serious. Elixir is way easier to get, save up, and find than gold is. Gold is usually harder to store up and get because it can be used for way more things than elixir.

you have GOT to be kidding us.

I cant get rid of my elixir fast enough because I regularly raid 600k+ elixir and gold..... EACH TIME!!!!!!!
it is NOTHING for my elixir storages to be maxed out (6,000,000). and when I'm on coc. I raid every 19 minutes.

as for your boosting and not finding anything.......well........that's how it goes. I try to keep my number of "nexts" under 100 for each raid (less then 10 min).

Same with me. I have one elixir storage in the corner next to my town hall. Might have to move more of them out.

My guess is the OP is a TH10. Up to TH8, every TH level generates excess elixir, relative to upgrade costs. That excess elixir is more than enough to pay for armies at every TH level. In fact, with only a couple exceptions (TH4 and TH5), the excess elixir is enough to pay for expensive armies.

The first TH level that does NOT have excess elixir is TH9, and this is only because they can dump elixir into walls. So technically, there isn't excess anything at TH9, except maybe DE (darker elixir).

Luckily, TH9's can raid TH8's, who are practically swimming in excess elixir.

TH10's, on the other hand, face a stiff penalty farming TH8's, and TH9's are dumping elixir into walls.

So, logically, the OP must be a TH10.

Or a crybaby.

But my money is on TH10.
