I understand this may not be that big of an issue, but it is highly annoying, and it DOES happen. I am pretty sure that many people have encountered a player on their Revenge list that is permanently online, no matter what they try or when they attempt a revenge. This is not limited to players on your revenge lists, because more than likely, there are players who never raid and just sit with their collectors.
I wish to propose a fix, or something of the sorts, for this issue, which may or may not work.
HOW IT WORKS
Players can be attacked while online ONLY if the circumstances below are met
- It MUST be a revenge attack.
- They player being revenge attacked MUST NOT have an active shield.
- The player seeking revenge has not forcibly revenged someone online within the last two hours.
When someone attempts to revenge while you are online
- You will be given a menu to either
- Watch the attack
- Exit the game
- Go raid somebody else (Gathered loot does not go to your base mid-revenge)
- You will not be allowed to modify barracks, as to avoid stuffing them full of troops to reduce available loot. Same applies to spell factories, upgrades, and research.
When you attempt to revenge an online player
- Must pay a small fee (optional)
- Will lose your shield as normal
- Will receive a two hour cool-down period to avoid spamming this feature
- Will have a small (10%-ish) loot penalty
That is all I could think of for now, PLEASE do give me feedback, I will post it below as soon as possible.
Apparently this is a stupid idea.
Not fair at all?
