    This is basically the same as the flare in boom beach. Personally I like the fact that you need to predict AI to get the troops to go where you want.

    I doubt they will make a spell cost more then 1 slot, also if it only affects some of the troops it could be a recipe for disaster. What if all your damage belines for the center while all your tanks wadle behind, they would get absolutely destroyed.

    There is a risk factor that is what makes this fun.

    Yeah they aren't going to make it take up more than 1 slot in the spell factory! At the very least, they will make it take 1 hour to make.

    This is to balance the whole advantage. If it's necessary it should be done & will be done.

    The simple way to make it cost only 1 slot is to make it have a small effect radius. Like, instead of attracting only some troops from all over the map, it could attract all troops, but only those within say 8 tiles. Actually, the easiest way to do this visually is to have the spell display a large radius when dropped, and any troops inside the spell's radius would glow (whatever color hasn't been used yet... orange? red?), and then try to head to the center of the spell's field.

    BTW, I'm not saying I want the spell, but if it's being proposed, we should at least make sure the proposal is as good as possible... and then shoot it down anyway if we don't like it.

    Edit: And 8 tiles even sounds a little too big... just depends on how this thing is implemented.

    also the visuals

    It will be a small circle maybe black which looks like a black hole but transparent .would be cool.
