I'll support dragon spring trap if SC buff dragons and make level 5 dragons

Ok I'd take that as a comprimise but would you really want to see your newly upgraded level 5 dragon get KO'd off the board!

It is so. Dragons can overpower any TH6 or TH7. Heck, I'm a TH7 on one account and I regularly 3 star your average TH8. But like others have said, once you get to a well-developed TH8 and beyond, dragons are no longer a factor. So no, dragons are already nerfed, nothing more needs to be done about them.

I think they are far too nerfed. Maybe we need level five dragons, but without the spring punch. No dragon spring for me!

I am almost max. What is left: Walls(51/225 max), bombs, and point defense.

I basically agree with everything you said, right up until your last sentence. I only partially agree with you there.

Dragons are perfectly balanced for TH8. A clever base and/or maxed defenses can stop most dragon attacks, but experienced dragon users with access to level 6 balloons in the CC can still manage 3 stars with careful planning. Not too easy, but not impossible: that's balance!

At TH9 and above, dragons are a 2-star strategy at best. So yes, they're already nerfed at high levels.

But at TH7, dragons are basically like hog riders pre-nerf. Sure, it's "only TH7", so nobody seems to care. But they need a nerf at TH7. Tons of ideas have been proposed. The proposal in this thread isn't a good one, in my opinion.

The two best options are to directly nerf the level 1 dragon's stats (reduce DPS and/or hit points), or to add a second seeking air mine at TH7.

For a look at a more in-depth attempt to rebalance dragons at TH7, see the link in my sig.

Dragons: You either love them or hate them. Well, or maybe both... Or maybe you don't care...
Regardless of how you feel about dragons, please see this suggestion for Rebalancing Town Hall 7, which is primarily focused around rebalancing dragons.
