    Angry Archer queen seriously needs an update!!

    Why is it that the archer queen will attack walls when it can shoot over them? Im at attacking up to 10 times a day and i see a lot of the archer queen attacking walls when she can quite easily move and shoot over the walls, this is a continuous annoyance for me and a lot of my clan and friends. What is going on here? This is ridiculous, there must be some way to sort this out, its so frustrating to have 1 building left and not get 100% because the queen chooses a wall over a building!

    PLEASE SORT THIS OUT, ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!

    All troops do it, not just the queen. Just see it as a general offense nerf.

    Tee Hee (this might be a one off special) I agree, all troops have vices and virtues, strengths and weaknesses. Until we understand the AI of the archer queen; (at present this is an impossibilty and supercell have not come out and told us why she does what she does but they have implicated distraction is playing a bigger role in attacks/defences) we can't really comment whether anything needs changing.

    I admit she is very unpredictible, but if she went where everybody intended for her to go she would be incredibly devastating and OP. Supercell have clearly done a lot of work recently on distraction tactics - and I think this is the reason for some of her bloopers.

    I don't know if it is just me, but I've been seeing more people complain about issues that are basicly glitches and failings of the core AI rules. Core AI, as in AI rules that are basic behavior rules almost all units use.

    The wall shooting/hitting I'm fairly sure Supercell knows about since it has been a long standing issue, but found no good way around it. I did some thinking on it and was at a loss. I've done some AI stuff before in games where that was part of the gameplay, and making a targeting algorithm that would not over inflate the processing time and yet solve the issue in a satisfactory way (as in did it's job and not make new glitches) was rather hard. Was no surprise to me that I came up with a blank. I can only guess on AI rules, based on what I see, while Supercell has a team working on this, with source code, and experts on it, and between busy working on other things, thier own experts have yet to find a good way to solve the wall shooting issue. Not to say it can't be done, but likely it has been put on the back burner for now since no one has cracked it yet, and need to spend time on other problems.
    (Damn, I think too much at times.)

    On top of all this, there has apparently been an unannounced AI update with the Clan Perk update (if assumptions and timing of these incidences are correct), which has caused some headaches among players. (Speaking of headaches, mine is mostly gone now ). Weird aggro triggers where troops in general stay 'bloodthirsty' towards other troops and will run down any and all troops they see around them, even if new one later show up. This is mostly noticed in high powered key attack units, likely due to be observed more closely, and how thier failure to work right can cause the whole attack to falter. There haven't been many reports, but when they do, it is some players either laughing from other's failures due to it, or raging from feeling jipped by the game.

    I've had several annoying experience with the queen, but the one that takes the cake was when she was against the wall immediately behind which where the enemy TH is and she chose to attack an adjacent wall 2 squares away from her, and there were no other buildings within her range except the TH. The wall she was hitting even encloses a space where there is nothing inside! It didn't stop there. For some reason she stopped attacking the wall and ran back the way she entered the base and attacked a storage instead. Stupid AI!
