A nice idea

This may be the best clan idea to date! There needs to be an option for clan leaders to grant certain members free access to the clan. By this it would mean you keep you rank and you are free to come and go until the leader changes your status. This way if you are in a top wars clan such as mine where you have many members in and out during the day but the clan is sometimes closed or trophies to high you can still get in. many times when I want back in my clan I have to message my clanmates through group me or kik. This would fix all that. It would make it easier on everyone. I think this update would be great and would be nothing but benificial for everyone. Only the leader should be able to grant this option and only the leader should be able to take it away. extra info: the clan would opperate the exact same, the leader would be able to grant this status and the leader alone. He would not have to grant it to anyone and everyone. This would be an exclusive status. nothing would change with wars. If you are in the clan and opted in you would be in war. If you are not in the clan at time of start then you are out. this status should be able to be controled be the leader rather or not a person is or isn't in clan. this would not have any bearing on clan flag. If this was part of clan perks then fine it would be nice to be earned as well. the leader could use this option as well but there should be a rule that you can only be a leader or co-lead of one clan at a time. the max amount of clans you could retain this title of elder may be only 1 or 2 or 3 and you would have the contol to give it up anytime you would like. This way you would possibly only be a member at the clan you were visiting but not much else would be needed for this option and its utility.

This would be great so I can move between my freinds clans without LEAVING my clan. Maybe an add on would be the leader could make it so the person could switch and be an elder. Say I (the leader) joins my freinds clan then 1) when I join back I'm still leader, and 2) when I join my freinds clan I can be preset as co or elder. Say my freind wants me to be co, but someone else to be elder when ever they switch, then there can be a button that you press that make it so that whenever they join they are automatically elder or co or member.

I can see uses for it. But there are some tweaks it would need so to not make their system a nightmare.

For example, you can only have that status with one clan. if you go to another and it is granted there it supersedes your old status. This will prevent guys from hopping all over collecting memberships (which would also be hard for the systems to keep track of). That would limit its usefulness to errand running such as visiting a friends clan, req clan, or feeder clan and coming back.

You should only have this with maybe two clans, though, so you can simply move between them.

Only the leader should be able to grant this option and only the leader should be able to take it away. The clan would operate the exact same way. The leader would not have to grant it to everyone. Nothing would change with wars. If you are in the clan and opted in, you would be in war. If you are not in the clan at time of start, then you are out. You would only be able to be leader or co-leader of ONE clan, but elder can be retained. Lastly, of course, you could get rid of the status yourself.

You could have added to a past post instead of creating a new one, they're more likely to see one post with 1,000+ replies then 100 posts with 10 replies.

As I said in that thread, this idea would be useful if the leader could give himself the free access to the clan.
