Stop war jumpers!!!!!!!!
There has got to be a way to prevent people from jumping war! Maybe lock down till the war is over? The opt out thing doesn't stop people from leaving just as a war starts!
Or maybe allow co's who are opted in to fight the extra battles?

That's your fault for not choosing members who are loyal and will not leave during war. Dont just start clan wars willy nilly with whoever comes waddling through the door

It really comes down to being careful who you go to war with, even if you stop people from leaving they will just not attack or fail on purpose.

Yes it mostly is your fault and there are many threads already giving the same advice. People here ARE helping you but you have to accept a change or two. Or three.
Make people sit out a war or two. If they are serious they will stay.
Don’t recruit people just to make up numbers for war.
Don’t let untrusted people recruit for the clan.
Recruit from the forum not global, close your clan and open it after an in-forum/PM interview.
Lots of ways to avoid 99.99% of the issue. Every one of them is the responsibilty of clan leadership.
That would be so easily abused.
Best solution in my experience (has worked for a few weeks) : Don't let anyone in your war unless they have been in the clan, active, for a week.
My experience is that reliability in war has nothing to do with how friendly or enthusiastic they sound in chat, or even donations.
Especially stick to this for players who would be at the top of your clan.

Ummm yes it is. My clan has never had this problem. We are careful about who we let in. Stop blaming Supercell and other people for your inability to take personal responsibility.
