I was a premature TH9, had been for a while, but I had all the toys the not premmie "wait to max everything" guys didnt have, I lost the same amount they did when raided, tbh i would loose less, and over the last few months, more of my clan have joined me at TH9, so our clan has mostly TH9 and TH8's, and one TH10.
Our lower levelled clan (only in level, not in skill or hierarchy), TH7's and TH8's mostly, we use an outside app to stay in contact, have a laugh, and a gossip, we also post pictures of succesful raids, I have to say, our highest ever Net loot from a member is a TH9 (1,048,530). TH9's constantly pull of the higher net loot raids, and even with the lower troops usage, (highest held by a TH9 at 148k with one archer).

On the odd occasion a TH7/8 pulls off a 300k gold raid. But our TH9's hold the highier consistency.

Personally I don't feel the loot cap, I think its a very small cap, and at my level of play I do feel i should be restricted from attacking weak bases, whats the point in max level troops if i raid TH7 all the time. I don't think any warning should be displayed when upgrading your Th, lets be honest do we, or don't we love stumbling across a premmie Th9/10 that we smash right through for easy loot, its bad enough everyone is using the same base designs, and more players are maxing before upgrading.

    This is just my thoughts.
And how is the TH 10 guy in your clan doing? That's where it really stings nowadays.

Edit: Also, you describe people who aren't premie TH 9s. Not being fully maxxed does NOT make you a premie. This thread is more about those people with level 2 troops and 160 camp spaces at TH 10 because they didn't know about the downsides to gemming their TH up to the top.

He never complains, he likes the high levels troops i think, he still has pink walls though.
And I said I was a premie, Th9 iv clawed it back and like to think i have a fairly strong base now, and I was defiantly a premie Th9, so iv done something right to get from where I was, to where I am. I do understand what a premie is.
There is also other players who were premie, one in particular, now has 200 level 9 walls, because he got on with it and didn't whine.

And if they are so premie, and have had enough gems to max their TH, use some more gems and live of the collectors, and hide under a shield. Build some Defence upgrade their lab. It's just means they have to raid a lower Th you can still get 180k gold from a Th7.

So quick question do you not raid premie TH10's no matter the loot, because you feel sorry for them? Because that would help them, alot.

We have all had started somewhere, some just start from a harder spot, as did i, and many now substantial bases. Untill I found my current clan, I knew nothing about the forums, or even knew that much about the game, actually I very rarly raided, lived of the collectors.

What supercell should implement is rather than a link in settings, a message to visit the forums, for tip, tricks and help, and if they are lucky enough, a good flaming.
Probably a higher level, a higher Townhall, better walls and better heros.

So what I'm hearing here is if you gemmed your TH, so what, just go ahead and gem the other important stuff. If you don't gem, suck it up and struggle for a few weeks/months. No biggie.

I mean, come on. Just because you can endure the struggles doesn't mean you shouldn't make people aware of the consequences of upgrading the TH. It's about letting people know the facts so they can make their own decisions. I'm really baffled as to why this is getting any pushback at all (except from SC).

So do you raid premie bases?

and if supercell have not implemented it, why not have a think why, there may be method in their madness.
I for one as a farmer, want more players that are easier to raid for better loot, with as less troops as possible.

and it's a good learning curve, upgrading a TH to quickly, has to be the harder part in the game, you learn to raid more efficiently, and get the most out of each troop, I can see why some players would want a warning, but many have just got on with it. And learnt from their mistakes. And if everyone maxed everything before upgrading more players would quit than players who maxed their TH to soon.
Probably a higher level, a higher Townhall, better walls and better heros.

Of course I do. Raiding is a core part of this game and everyone knows it. Yes, it hurts those players, but it literally is the point of the game.

There is definitely a method to this madness. There is absolutely a reason this isn't there. Helping farmers is not it, though. Premature bases = money. Either these players gemmed to get there, or they are more inclined to gem there way out of the situation.

Leagues serve a similar purpose by promoting gemming through trophy hunting. That's why the bonuses haven't been adjusted. I'm no SC hater, but let's be real and call both of these things what they are.

Of course. The thing is that having a warning screen, loot info screen, whatever, wouldn't force anyone to do anything. There would still be many, many players who would be premies anyway and very few people would probably max out each TH. People will still make mistakes, this just makes the players wholly accountable.

No more loot penalty? I don't how'd I feel about that. Reduction in loot penalty? Should happen and most likely I think. A message warning of the loot penalties before upgrading town hall? Nah.
