TH loot penalty should be made known within the game

yeah, something needs to be said...but it won't feature numbers and/or percentages...because occasionally, these get reviewed/changed.

It's a direct affect on gameplay, so it needs to be mentioned somewhere, even if that somewhere links you to this forum or the wikipedia to inform you better on it.

it is a trap, why would they want to warn you about it? When you rush you either have to struggle or pay money to offset the mistake. I rushed, fixed the mistake with few gems. Lesson learned the hard way, do not rush.

I can't fix it whit few gems. At th10 there is no way to fix.... Sad... I loved this game, now its almost impossible to Play....

Not to sound like a broken record but how about the builder times being added to upgrades? Is there a fix for that too? <_<

This is a strategy game. I think SC should unlock an achievement right when you max out all collectors and upon unlocking the achievement upgrading your townhall becomes absolutely free and instant! Free to get people to upgrade AND instant so they can't change their minds!

Think of the epic loot and farming possibilities.

How many of you upgraded your TH, not knowing that there was a loot penalty?

I surely did, back in December I upgraded to TH9 under the advise of another clueless clan member, because he said the X-Bow was worth it. My defenses were only TH7 level at best, with mostly pink walls. Here I am, over 5 months and still at TH9. It was quite a struggle to farm at that time, and I still have another 3 months+ to go before TH10.

If the TH loot penalty was made known to me from within the game (TH info screen? a 1 line message at the game load screen?), then I definitely would have looked into it first.

A very very small percentage of the CoC players actually visit the forum, and even if you do you must be lucky enough to stumble across a post about it.

Thats when your addiction and desperation come into play and force you to buy gems! ($$$ for SC)

Why not just give every new player a complete handbook on optimal strategy?

If players were made aware of the loot penalty there would be a lot less under-developed TH 7,8,9's, i don't want to give those up

Most of us farm resources from underdeveloped bases anyway, so don't kid yourselves that raiding these bases is a bad thing....
