    New plants/decorations/achievements idea!

    Hey guys, welcome!

Today I was thinking that our village could use some different decorations and different flora... So here's my idea!
My plan is to introduce obstacles similar to the ones we currently have, but they will be removable with gold coins and dark elixir, too! The ones with gold coins would pretty much be a way to bring back the stones that we unfortunately have to clear to get more space for our village, and they were nice! So this would bring new events.
    Obstacles - Part 1

    - Falling meteors: Every once in a while, rock formations would appear on your village: they're fallen meteors!
They would spawn with the same frequency as normal plants (I believe 1 every 8 hours) and would look like charred black stones. They would have three different sizes, small, medium and large. The larger the meteor, the more is needed to remove it. More accurately, you would be able to use a small amount of dark elixir to clean these charred rocks. I was thinking about 25, 50 and 100 dark elixir respectively. When cleaned, they would look just as before, only, SURPRISE! of a light grey, polished colour. If you wanted to remove them completely, you would then have to spend a small amount of gold, for example 1000, 2500 and 5000 gold respectively. NOTE: When you click on these obstacles, 2 options would come up, "Clean" and "Remove". Removing the meteor without cleaning the dark elixir away would simply cost a bit more gold than if it was before cleaned, so not to spend dark elixir. Maybe 2000, 4500 and 9000 gold coins?
These obstacles, when removed, would have a chance to yield a number of gems, from 1 to 6 gems, and would also give a bit of experience.

    - Dark Elixir plants: These dark plants would spawn with the same frequency as other obstacles. They would look like dying trees, or possibly willows or dead bushes. I was thinking of having 3 variations, like meteors, but there could be more! They would come in different sizes, small medium and large, respectively costing 50, 150 and 300 dark elixir to remove.
These obstacles would yield 1 to 6 gems, along with some experience, upon removal.

Important Detail: This introduction of new obstacles would not increase the amount of obtainable decorations in a certain time, meaning you wouldn't get 3 obstacles (normal tree, meteor and dark elixir plant) every 8 hours. Instead, normal obstacles would keep on appearing until you unlocked the Botany/Astrology Research Facility!

    Botany/Astrology Research Facility

Description: Some of the older villagers, bored of always having to stay in the safe(?) walls of the town hall doing nothing, started to study Botany and Astrology. Now you can make your village look prettier, even with all those graves around it!

The BARF (I swear I did not want this acronym to be like this... Forgive me, but I gotta go fast!) would be a new building unlockable at Town Hall 7, after the dark elixir storage has been built. It would be a 3x4 building, with a giant Telescope on one side and 2 big vents on the other. It would have low Hitpoints, but would still have to be destroyed by attackers to gain percentage/wreck your village(). This would be an upgradable building, with 3 levels, and each level would unlock new possibilities.
When you select it, a "Research" and a "Observe" button would appear.

-Research: Here, you can spend small amounts of dark Elixir to study the behavior of dark elixir plants. "Discovering" these new plants would cost 10000 Dark Elixir (yes, not a small amount, but research is costly!) and would take 30 minutes to complete. After this, you would be able to spend Dark elixir to activate the spawning of dark elixir plants. At level 1, you would be able to spend 200 Dark elixir to ONLY spawn Dark elixir plants for a certain amount of time, I.E 1 day, meaning 3 plants. Upgrading this building would give you up to 2 more options: 1) 400 dark elixir for 3 days of research (9 plants) and 2) 800 dark elixir for 1 week of research (21 plants). When researching, fumes and light would come out of the building's vents. When research ends, normal obstacles will begin to spawn again.
IMPORTANT: When researching, no other plants or meteors would spawn. This would prevent having more obstacles spawn in a certain time, because for example, for 1 day only Dark plants would spawn (meaning 3 and not 9 obstacles).

-Observe: This is the same concept of the Research, only it would work with gold coins and dark elixir. With the help of the elder wizards (also known as bribing them with coins and dark elixir), you would be able to spawn meteors: more precisely, the bribed wizards would try to shoot down these flying space-rocks. You would be able to spend, respectively, 5000 gold and 50 dark elixir to spawn meteors for 1 day (3 meteors), 10000 gold and 100 dark elixir for 3 days (9 meteors) and 20000 and 200 dark elixir for 7 days of observing (21 obstacles). When researching, the giant telescope would move frequently, and occasional blasts of energy would be seen from the windows.
IMPORTANT: When observing, no other plants or darks plants would spawn.

Why would we all this? Players would be able to customize their village with trendy new obstacles: a village in a dark forest, or maybe one with meteors near it, or shiny polished rocks! Lots of customization would be available, but diligence would also take part in this, as one would have to check when their B/ARF (sorry!) stops working.

Part 2 - Decorations and Achievements

We all know that, in the decorations tab, there is a PEKKA statue. Pretty nice right? Well, I want to introduce something a bit different, but not too much.

Let's start with the Achievements (patience!). These would be simple: train a troop a number of times. There would be a total of 16 new achievements, 1 per troop type, and all of them would have a maximum of 3 stars, along with rewards in gems. The troops would only have to be trained, and could be later donated or used in battle. The numbers I will put are just to give a general idea, but I'd appreciate feedback on those as well!
I will take some names for the achievements from other people, as I liked them. I don't remember the players' names, but just keep in mind that, if you read an idea that was yours, I'm thanking you for it.

15)Queen of the dead - Train 750 Witches
16)Rockets dont scare Bobby - Train 500 Lava Hounds

Ok... Now, I'm not good at numbers, so they maybe are not balanced, but I put them so you have an idea of this. Let's get to the interesting part!

    Decorations

Now what I want to introduce is something similar to the P.E.K.K.A statue. It is not necessary to make a new building, the present Builder will suffice.
Every time you complete one of the new achievements, you will also receive Blueprints, along with the gem and experience rewards. These Blueprints are given to Builders so they are able to sculpt your favorite troop!
Example: you complete the "More than a workout" Barbarian achievement. Congratulations, you won the Barbarian Blueprint! Now your builder will be able to sculpt a beautiful(?) Barbarian statue to place on your lawn.

How it works: When you click on the builder's hut, there will now be a new option, along with Examine. That option will be "Blueprints". If you haven't unlocked any Blueprints, the option will be red, and when clicked on it, you will receive a message saying: "You don't have any Blueprints! Train some troops, chief!". If Blueprints are available, you will be taken to a menu that shows all available troops. Troops you haven't unlocked yet or haven't trained enough of will not be selectable. Troops that you have unlocked will be selectable, and when selected, will show how many of that troop you need to train in order to get the next achievement.
Each troop card (I imagine the options as cards) will display the troop and the number of Stars achieved for that troop. If you only completed the first achievement of the Barbarian, you will be able to select him and see 1 Golden Star near his name. Obtaining more Stars will give you material variations for the sculptures.

    Sculpting

Now let's say you want to sculpt a Barbarian. If it is your first time sculpting, you will have to choose the option "Sculpt New". This will cost a number of coins, about 500K Gold Coins. This will give you a blank piece of marble, 2x2 in space, that you will place in your village. After placing it, you will see 2 options, "Examine" and "Sculpt".

If you decide to Examine, it will either tell you that it is an "A raw piece of marble. Let your imagination run wild!" if you left it blank, or, if it is Sculpted, it will say "A beautiful sculpture of a *Material name* *Troop name*".

If you decide to Sculpt, you will be brought to a menu where you can choose what troop you want to sculpt (You would have to have completed at least the 1 Star Achievement for the troop!). A preview of the sculpture will appear, and if you have unlocked other Stars, you will be able to choose different materials. At 2 Stars, you will be able to sculpt Gold and Purple Elixir statues, and at 3 stars you will be able to sculpt Dark Elixir ones. The cost of sculpting will be low if you wish for the Statue to be of marble (10K coins?), but it will rise if you wish it to be of a different material. 25K coins will be for the Gold and Purple Elixir Statues, and 50K coins will be for the Dark Elixir Statues (I'm bad with numbers, please tell me if it's too much, too few or about right).

At this moment you must be thinking: what? so many statues... we won't have enough space! Don't worry!
After you built the base for the Sculptures, you will have to change it every time you want a different Sculpture. This means that you can only choose one troop of one material at a time, choose what best suits you!

This is the end of thread. Thank you very much for taking time to read it all, I really wish to hear your opinions on this and would love constructive criticism!

    Clash on!

For the first part about meteors... this is in one of the stickies already. Can't remember if it is ruled out or not.

For the second part - definitely original. I'm wondering about how it would affect server lag though and also I feel like there is a lack of space at higher TH levels...

Guys, I will keep on editing the post now, but I think I mentioned it about 3 times...
When you choose something to research (example dark plants) you won't receive other obstacles, only the dark plants for a limited amount of time! I do not want to increase gems earned or obstacles earned!

    Quoting...
"Important Detail: This introduction of new obstacles would not increase the amount of obtainable decorations in a certain time, meaning you wouldn't get 3 obstacles (normal tree, meteor and dark elixir plant) every 8 hours. Conquest

Would it be a good idea to give the town hall a new upgrade that allows the more advanced players to go into maybe a map and conquer a filler village and be given the land to upgrade buildings like their original town? They would have to reach a few build objectives in order to donate troops. They can conquer the villages of others in wars, steal resources, etc etc.

Um, your idea could be nice, but it doesn't have anything to do with mine... You're not supposed to write ideas on other's posts, especially when they have nothing to do with the person's post. Please post things inherent to the subject, or just give me your opinion on my idea. You can write your different ideas on another thread. Thanks!

From the poll I understood I needed to add more details. I did that and also tweaked the thread a bit. I would like to hear the poll voters' options, and why they believe I need modifications. I surely wasn't expecting to make a perfect thread right at the start, but with help from you guys I believe it could be possible! Thanks!
