I've been farming in Crystal 2 with Lavaloonion, averaging about 500k Combined + 1k DE per raid.
I like Lavaloonion, as its quite easy farming strat that lets me get deep into the storages, but only downfall is the long wait time for the army comp, as well as the Elixir for Loonz and DE for 1 x Hound, and Minions.
Prior to Crystal I was using Barch in Gold, but I dont find as much inactives up in Crystal league so much would be a pain for the Nexting.
Any suggestions on TH9 farming that is more efficient and more friendly on the Lix and DE?

I use Giants (12), Archers (96), Goblins (20), Minions (10) and WB (12). Total cost and training time are: ~100k lix and 23mins. When I see a collector raid, I use 4-8 giants so my retrain cost and time before ~50k lix and 15mins. Basically I farm almost using barch when I see a collector raid. The extra giants and WB are for loaded TH8.
I farm at 1900-2050 with the C3 badge. Netting around 700k-1.2mil gold per hr and ~3-5k DE. I have a lvl 15 AQ with me. However, only half my raids are collectors, so the rest comes from TH8 or other TH9
Lavaloonian is something I cook at night for one attack. I don't farm with that, it's WAY to slow and expensive. If you want gold/elixir, right now Gold 1 is really good. If you want a little more DE, Crystal 3 is good. I would just barch(4-6 wbs) for gold/elixir and use giants/archers/wbs to hit the DE storages. I've noticed that C2 and up, the bases start to get harder to hit for quick loot.
Hit the TH8s and easy TH9s(even rich TH7s for quick loot and bonus), don't waste your time on the harder bases. I see people attack my base with Level 3 xbows etc and get like 80k if they are lucky. What a waste of a good army, that could have leveled a TH8 for 4x that.
