Post Battles should go down to the last projectile, not the last troop.

I will set up a situation here. You are in a Clan War Attack and you have 99% with one wizard left, and one builders hut left in the corner. As your wizards arrives, he steps on a giant bomb, he shoots, then blows up before his lightning ball hits the hut. The attack ends then, as the last troop was killed, though the projectile was in the air and would have destroyed the hut in one hit. Why does the projectile fall out of the air if the troop dies? Does a missle fall out of the air if the person firing it dies? This idea (in the title) would make it so that the projectile would hit the building, destroy it, and get the three star victory, and help the war effort instead of the "missle" falling out of the air when the troop that fires it dies and makes you angry. This would not change the game a ton, though it would be a small improvement IMO.

For the wiz the storyline might support his blast vanishing without his magic to power it. But do archer's arrows also disappear?

Yes, they do, so do falling loons, have not tested, seen others.

Yup. Game referee stops the game and blocks any and all damage in transit, and calls game over. Happens with the defender too, but it is less an issue, unless you call foul when the attacker quits just before thier King gets KO'd from a hit that was still in the air.

What if it is you next, I saw a thread about this before, and thought the person was crazy. This happened to my clan in war (a close one) a week or so later.

I've noticed the effects a long time before, and can see that being an issue in rare cases.

So I already believe you. Even if I didn't realize it before, I'd likely do research on it before assuming the person is crazy.

Would this also apply? When in war, you have 99% and 1 building left. The building has less than 5% and the timer has 2 seconds left. Your wizard blasts his magic thingie at the building but it then dissapears when the timer hit 0.

well votes explain better than words but still its really a severe pain in the heads of players who are frequently coming across the situations, it happened with me too while my queen was shooting a th and just 2% of health was left and then queen got squashed and i lost the battle!!!

I would say not, since the timer was done. I just mean if your troop dies while a projectile is in the air.

OK I can accept the argument that if wiz is killed his spell in progress halts with him. But a fired arrow and falling loon should finish out as those are already in progress and there is no thing they could possibly still need from their initiator. (Wiz and witch would only be different because it can be argued they themselves are the power source for the spell)

I think if game ends with spell in transit the spell should finish out, all fired shots of any sort should finish out.

If it happens to me then so be it, my base should take the extra hit even if it costs us the war its still fair. You are mistakenly assuming this is just a whiner thread. The guys here are simply discussing the logical ways for this stuff to play out and I think every one of them is considering it to be fair both ways matter who they make it work.

(Did you really think I was going to say that when my base is defending its ok for the shots to disappear but if I am attacking they should finish?)
