We can already mute people, gather a friends list, have an Inbox, and send clan mail; however, there is no form of private messaging. I'm sure this has been brought up a number of times, and I've checked the Ruled-Out topic from the Dev Team, and this concept hasn't been ruled out as of yet.
Just a simple private messaging system, with a small inbox, that allows a clan member to private message other clan members, or friends to message other friends. I can see an abusive aspect of it if this were to be applied to beyond friends or clan members, but we DO have the ability to mute people, so we already have a control in place if the messaging system were to be more universal.
Is there any reason this hasn't been implemented yet?
