    It's ruled out

    Battle Related:
    *Ability to filter matchmaking by resources or trophies available
    *Capture live attackers and have them reassigned to your own clan castle, army camps, or new structure
    *Bonus/award if attacker skips your village – partial payment to you on match fee
    *On Offensive Battle Summary include resource cost of troops/spells used
    *Ability to assign 5 or so of your own troops to defend Town Hall, same AI as CC, smaller radius
    *Ability to transfer a revenge to a clan member or public hitlist

    *Auto reset/repurchase traps if you win a defense (shield didn’t activate, still attackable)

    *Add a small chance to “Steal/Win/Replace” spells on an attack victory (suggest 3-star only)
    *Back button in matchmaking for accidental “Next” clicks – Perhaps cost double fee to return
    *Deactivate spell selection after casting to avoid multiple mis-casts, make user re-select if wanted
    *Add a 1-2 second spell casting cooldown to prevent unwanted multiple mis-casts

    I think you've drastically misread my Original Post and think I'm merely complaining about an incident that occurred to me alone. How could you possibly not see the issue here?

    Defenders are currently required to move their Town Hall in a position where it can easily be destroyed in order to get a shield. Why? Because our traps are not reset. So when you go to sleep, wake up 8 hours later and have another 5 people who've taken all your resources not because you had a poorly designed base, but because all your traps are already popped from the first attacker.

    It is clearly a flaw in the design of the game, not of any individual.

    The issue has nothing to do with me at all. It has nothing to do with my base or anyone else's that I know. It has nothing to do with me losing resources.

    The sole issue is that the current system is geared towards the attacker only. The defender is left defenseless after the first attacker. That is the only issue.
    I am saying the game was set up so that every choice a player made had both advantages and disadvantages.

    You sir are starting to have a tantrum like some small child (but I sense you are an adult) because you want everything your way. I am sorry you can't see why it all can't be your own way but you really need to settle down and get over it.

    BTW the shoe is on my other foot too - I just shot up to master 1 overnight because my base won all its attacks. I was higher than I wanted before and now even more so, pretty soon my base is not going to win attacks, I am going to be losing and getting a shield on first defenses. But at the same time, maybe I want this because an immediate shield might be better than all the successful defenses lower. Or I can decide trophies are less important and drop. And also if I do that I can decide to put THY out so I am not winning multiple defenses. Or not. I don't know yet, I have to think about it. But as I do I have to weigh the advantage and disadvantage of each option. That is my challenge and the game is better for me being forced to make it.

    Now you have to make yours. Welcome to the real world. I hope you adapt into it.

    I do get your issue with the traps being not being auto reset, but if you are winning 10 defenses in a row then un-reset traps are not hurting you is why I think you are on about something else.

    You know, I totaly forgot about the original idea of this thread for a tangent topic.

    Oh well, already got more than one normally can out of a ruled out idea thread.

    Who cares if the idea was a flop. Learn from it and move on. It isn't so much a failed idea as it is one that won't work. 'Failed' gives the mental image of being useless, when usually that is not the case at all. You know what not to try now, which means progress.

    Ideas here are like CoC barbarians. Many will die, so don't get too attached. Also, it takes more than a few to successfully attack a base. And we have some tough bases to attack...

    Thanks for posting this. I did read the sticky but I had looked under other things like Defense.

    I have same issue. 5 times in a row and no shield. But they all got 1 star and bunch of gold.

    move your mines out of the way of defences.

    The only reason I would assume this is happening is that your mines are right on the outside and you have heavy defences killing every opportunity for the troops to attack 30% of your bases. Perhaps people will have to place enough building outside of their major defences to get a 30% shield. remember the map has increased. move your mines away from your defences.
