    If it makes sense your doing it wrong, thats what i learned from the marines. Highly doubt this will happen because of well you know how Supercell is hahahah, but im on full support of this idea!

    I agree. I also try my best to rarely ever use spells just to not waste gold due to the fact of always having too much elixir in comparison to gold haha. Also whenever i seem to find high resources its normally always elixir that i find more of, such as 230k gold/370k elixir etc. Always plenty of elixir in comparison to gold it seems, at least what I've notice more than ever lately.
    Not to mention the cost of searching for the player to attack is 750/1000 for th9/th10 per "next" if anything i spend way more gold on average than elixir with attacking, even taking into account rebuilding a "normal" army, aka giants/gobs/breakers/archers etc. So unless you want to wait an hour + per army and build dragons, or pekkas or something along the lines of that, and ur attacks take forever to do due to the long army builds, i highly doubt the cost of replacing a 'typical normal' army would cost anywhere near enough. Especially not enough to make up for 10million difference, let alone 160million, let alone 1.3BILLION haha.
    Also with the adding of dark elixir troops, a lot of people add dark elixir troops into their regular army, which means less normal elixir to fill their army camps, resulting in having even MORE elixir.

    If gold is for defense, and elixir for attacking, then why don't they change the spell factory to use elixir?

    I also always thought the the town hall price should cost half gold/elixir. Though this would make little difference overall.

    Yeah true, but like you said wouldn't make much difference overall, only real option is walls

    I understand the issue eventhough I am only level 53 myself. I never had an issue with Elixer, I never ran out of it and the amount of buildings that require Gold is just too much. The game is (in my opinion) created in a way that if you play the game around 10 hours a day, that the use of Gold / Elixer is balanced out.

    The idea of walls using Elixer and Gold so the user can pick which one he / she likes is a great idea to balance it out. I do feel sorry for those that had to do it with the Gold, but not a single update can benefit everyone.
