So many bad things would come into this game if your idea were to be implemented. As has been said multiple times throughout this thread, being able to upgrade walls with both gold and elixir would essentially halve the time it takes to upgrade walls. Even TH10 players who loots an average of 8M of each resource, could get all 250 walls upgraded in 62 days. That is about 2 months, which for that player level isn't very long at all. Not to mention how much less time it would take for lower TH's. Contrary to what others believe, this would take a heavy toll on everyone's loot. TH9 and below could spend all that excess on their walls when going to bed, with few exceptions, i.e players saving up for an upgrade (which most people should be able to do in a day), dramatically decreasing elixir loots. This idea also seems to revolve around players of a higher TH level. I'm currently TH6 and I find myself constantly being short of elixir while having bountiful amounts of gold, and I can't get enough elixir from raiding because most other people of my TH level, even TH7's and 8's, don't have much more than 100K of elixir, but even more common is people who have only 30 - 50K.
Also OP, you don't seem to handle criticism very well, I read this thread completely and you often insulted or put down the criticiser just because they found faults and flaws in your idea. Sad.

I also want walls easier to get but would rather more like the idea of lowering wall price as either the maxed out bases would never have any more reason to attack besides darkelixir...
My Point would be that walls prices got lowered like this:
LvL 7 wall: 150k down from 200k
LvL 8 wall: 300k down from 500k
LvL 9 wall: w/e it is down to 500k
LvL 10 wall: w/e it is down to maximum 750k
But yeah the idea about elixir spent for walls instead sounds very good to those who have maxed out elixir upgrades and other stuff like that, but though it will be harder to find people to attack as there would be like empty gold and also empty elixir when people got one builder only free!!!
Another thing that I also thought about now is what the poster above sais!!!
I am also often short in elixir because it cost alot for example to make troops and when you have 1mil+ you get attacked in like 10mins if you are offline a short time while troops are gathering/training, so no is my best thought about this idea if it wouldnt be that you have to pay 5 millions in elixir for one wall w/e the level

This is by far the most thought out idea surprisingly being a TH7 I Can feel the huge gap between using G and E this will even out +1.
I Think It Should Split The The Resources. So Lets say A Wall Is 1 Million. It Will Now Cost 500,000 Elixir And 500,000 Gold.
How'd you find this. Is thread is from 2013!
