Archers or Wizards?

Gentlemen,
Im still torn between which is better. I have only been using wizards from donated cc troops. Otherwise I am all archers. What is your guys opinion on this topic? Archers or Wizards...

As a farming troop archer all the way. Wiz is a good combo with other troops, tank troops like giants and golems.

Archers for farming, with barbs as meat shields. Back-to-back attacks again, and again, and again, year in and year out.

Wizards for war, or any full-on attacks. But ALWAYS use BIG meat shields. If your wizards are getting hit by defenses, then you're doing it wrong. Wizards should not be hit. They die like flies, and then their 8 minute training time really hurts...

Yea I guess I am thinking more for war. So I am assuming a good amount of giants? Also I never use healers but could be good in a Giant, wiz, healer, comp? I don't use healers but 90% of the time I bring 3 heal spells.

Before you have dragons, giants/healers/wizards are fine. Just remember to take out clan troops before you go in.

Once you have dragons, then using anything else is for fun, not efficiency. Dragons kill at TH7 and early TH8.

Once you hit late TH8 and later, you will want to go to more advanced, harder, and more fun attacks.

Yea I have tried the dragon strat a few times but im just as good with my archer/wall breaker/giant/barb, comp only for the sole reason that im so used to that strategy. I have realized there are so many strategy's in this game when you are used to one it can be hard to change lol IMO.

Wizards are great, especially at level 5... only problem is that they seem to get demolished by Big-Bombs and Spring traps!! I lost a war once because wizards all bunched together and all got killed by a big bomb. Like 20 of them!!
Like someone else mentioned though; they're an excellent troop to work alongside say giants with a few heal and rage spells!! Just gotta' find your own method of attack and stick to what works best for you!!!

Wizard is my favorite CC troop whether offense or defense, but I am more of an archer kind of guy because they can be used for farming. Not much of a ground attacker in CW as well so don't use wizards too often.
