I have never had a war search exceed an hour... prob 45 minutes max... Might be worth cancelling and restarting next time... sounds like you guys just got lost in the algorithm or something
There arent many clans at 45 searching with 45 max def/hero bases, and alot of maxed wall bases aswell. So matching up can take quite a while for these clans, we've had a few very long searches at ITD aswell.

Yes.....coming to 7 hours...again.....it's pretty normal......keep going for another 40 hours we might search you after your prep day is over Mike
Apparently it will try and pair you up with equal level clan first, if it can't find anything in that category it goes a step lower. From what I seen the clan I'm in always gets matched with like a level 3 clan. All the time, Have not gotten a Level 4 or 2 or 1 clan in war ever since then.
Maybe that probably is accounting for why the searches now take longer despite more clans being involved in wars.
