im not a high trophy guy, but still i recognized that some ppl are sending free shield to high trophy players in order to avoid other competitor to attack their village and drop trophies. i considered lots of ideas about how to improve the function of shield that protect new players also won't give people a chance to ♥♥♥♥♥ on it, but none. So the only way i think is to cancel the shield feature, instead we can built some other features to have the same function as shield.
i have couple of ideas here:
resource protection: after people been attacked by first attacker, he will not have the shield instead, the second player will get 0 resources until the resource protection runs out(depends on the percentage of the damages), but still he can earn some trophies,or lose. And third person will repeat the same thing as the second player, but he will earn less trophies than the second or the first attacker, so on and so on. for examplethe first attacker will earn 20 trophies if he got three stars, also the resources. the second will earn 15 trophies if he got three star if he attack the same player, but no resources until the resource protection runs out)
so you may say, what if people keep attacking the same player, then it will work the exactly same way as the shield. the answer is, people will lose at least 1 trophies whatever how may times he got attacked. don't forget player also win trophies when attacker can't get 50 percent damage or lower.
