I have three copies of pokemon, one for my Charmander, one for my Squirtle, and one for my second Charmander.
Do you know what would make them cheaper? If people were allowed to upgrade them with Elixir starting with lvl3 walls...
Seriously though walls are a resource dump that are designed to give people something to do if they want to farm for long periods of time. If you don't want to farm the walls then don't, you may never hit fully maxed base but who really cares.
they have so many different types of troops that can destroy or avoid walls that they really dont have much use other than showing how much you have spent on a base, level 8 walls are more than enough for any base

Find any maxed th 10 playing clash...He farmed those walls and he did it. You can too.

Walls are cheap. I know someone who maxed walls in 6months. He also maxed his base in this time by spending $700 to gem time upgrades and gem barracks. He got all his money back after hero update and quit.
Walls aren't expensive. Max your heroes and you'll get so much resources it'll be easy to max walls
