    How Can we make the X-Bow Unique?

    I have heard a lot of people say that the X-bow is no different than a buffed-up Archer Tower. And that could be true - yes it has longer range and higher hitpoints, and you can even choose between ground and ground and air - but for example, the Inferno Tower. It is the most unique defense, and its damage grows the longer it attacks units, or you can set it to multi targets. It even blocks out healing effects.

    Or even the Mortar. High range splash damage but can't see close to it. I mean come on, even that's unique!

    So, I'm suggesting we start a thread to make the X-Bow a little unique. My suggestion is to make it shoot faster and have slightly higher DPS, followed by a short reload time. Just something to make it different and could put more stress on the timing part of attacking.

    So what ideas do you have on how we can make the X-Bow unique? As Penny says in the newest Big Bang Theory episode: "DISCUSS!"

    It is unique, longest range, fastest shooting, just doesn't have great dps but its fine.

    Im ok with it the way it is.

    I briefly thought about suggesting it should be a tad higher than an arch tower, not less. or I also though that if it had the ability to switch targets if a new one is closer. But I think both of those might make it t0o OP.

    I think it's unique the way it is now....

    cause if you're gonna describe a wizard tower, the way they describe xbow as a buffed up archer tower,
    its basically a fastshooting-lowrange mortar
    and vice versa
    a mortar is basically a high range slow shooting wizard

    the comparison is "too basic", if you'll describe xbow as a buffed up AT
    you can also say the same about AT, it's a lower range xbow with higher dps and low HP


    (I'm not really good at explaining)

    They should have removed the ground/air selection and just make it to shoot ground targets at 14 tiles and air target at 11 tiles when in range. But noo, let's nerf this and nerf that all wrong instead and make an archer tower you unlock at Town Hall 1 better than xbow when it is maxed.

    How about adding a third mode, it only targets air troops with a range of 14 tiles, like the ground-only one?

    Or maybe, when it is in the mode that targets both air and ground units, choose what to attack first? I.e. There are balloons and Giants in the range of your xbow, if you had chosen air units it would first take down all the balloons, before targeting the giants: if it started attacking ground troops but then more air ones came it would have to finish attacking the previous ground target before going on the flying ones.
