Nice idea. But the reason why you cant do this is that there will Be too much bullying going on. Then you will need some way of blocking certain people from attacking you - in the end it will be too complicated or too many newer players will get put off and depressed.

You know how game-breaking this would be?
Maxed TH10s could oh so easily upgrade their alts insanely fast. They would just place their storages outside their base, switch to their other account, let them raid their TH10 base and get 800K loot, then would just upg everything on their alternate account. Then Repeat...
Also, people would start keeping a list on inactive bases that they found... No need for search button, just look up the base and oh, look, the mines and collectors are all full again! This would eventually just be a race to search the base once the shield deactivated...
