Village clocks and penalties for draft dodgers

A clanmate of mine (fcc) suggested two ideas I thought would be very helpful:

    1) A village clock that syncs with other clan members (from different time zones) would be useful for organizing clan functions.
    2) Draft dodgers/war deserters should be penalized in some way. Perhaps it should be displayed in player profiles how many times they have left a clan in the middle of war.

I will be expecting these new features in the next update. Thank you!

    1) Hard to implement, I would rather they worked on something more important to the game.

    2) Many times a person may leave is because the members of the clan were being rude or disrespectful and Supercell has a history of not wanting to add a negative badge to a specific player.

Well, that sounds a bit pessimistic.

I know it's not a simple tweak, but I would think that a village clock would be worth the effort, and I'm sure plenty of us could find it very useful.

I realize the second idea is probably not going to happen, mainly for, as you said, Supercell won't want to "add a negative badge to a specific player," but I still think there should be a penalty of some kind. People may sometimes leave clans for the reasons you stated, but how often does that realistically happen? If a player leaves in the middle of war it negatively affects the entire clan; that is disrespectful. And if a player feels compelled to do this more than a few times, the problem likely lies with said player, rather than all of the clans he/she abandoned.

the village clock is pretty easy to implement

    IF

what you mean is a "CoC Game Clock"

like a universal clock for everyone in CoC (similar to server time in MMOs)
maxed out TH9, minus the heroes
    kinda quit, Lurker mode: on

Yes, Jomar, that is basically what I meant.

I like this idea, show the war participation as a percent no war? Just an x! I understand missing a few attacks but every war would get you kicked in my clan.
I have clan mates with different time zones and it's hard to war sometimes so this would be nice to see.

Also I think this is semi related to this thread but there should be a tally for hopping. I have certain players that leave and join constantly and are yet loyal to the clan. Would be nice to see how often they actually left

Sounds like it's settled then! I'll be looking forward to the next update. Thanks Supercell!

Wrong way to go about ideas

You don't 'combo meal' two totaly different suggestions like that. Each one is worth it's own thread.

That's probably true, but I'd feel like I was spamming if I created two threads for two simple (but separate) ideas.
