Thread: New defense incintive (With pictures!)

Supercell could actually see a cycle of improvement and relapse as the defence bonus restarts at the start of the season, and gets used up as time goes by. For awhile, there would be more targets as bases are more willing to be open to attacks, before closing back up again. They can adjust the average duration of bases closing up by just extending some factors.

    Also there would be a sudden demand for defence win bases, like Newbie Troll bases, Town Hall Sniper Troll Bases, or Raider/Farmer Bait bases (akin to my TH7 base... loved the defence win on that one) if such a thing was added, so to milk the defence bonus loot as much as possible.

    Bottom line: I see it as a good test feature, since it kind of bribes people to not turtle up under shields for a set time, and give Supercell some test data on feature effects that could be more permanent. Could make it into an event thing or something, with somekind of logic to help explain away the magic materializing money effect from winning with some plot device.

    Sorry for taking so long to get back. Was kind of distracted by things for awhile.

    Yeah the amount of times it is available could be tweaked some I agree. But THSI was a rough idea when I made it and it's important to generate feedback before getting a hard final on an idea. I was never really sure on how often you should obtain this loot; (sub 200 is my life ) and it really depends on how big the bonus is. It could be big and given a few times, small given a lot, or in between. But as you know; that final decision is supercells. They have the final say on all stats and this Includes the frequency in which you can obtain said rewards.

    It does open up and encourage more defensive bases and troll bases and ultimately; add more of a purpose to being a snapping turtle. Perhaps it might even open the door to other ideas.

    I also hate hate the poorly constructed ideas but as you know; I generally construct my ideas well.

    To the OP, its a great idea. Most people tends to put the th on the outside when they have tons of loot to protect. But I do stumbled some bases with th outside with no loots to raid. If the idea would be implemented, I guess more people would put the th in the middle, and receiving a small loots wouldn't be a bad idea. Not so many people that played CoC would have so many free times to play and farming.

    Something interesting to see in relation to the Troll Bases mentioned (Waring: Two f-bombs said. Also maybe some bad/lame jokes.)

    And my Anti-Barcher Base, that was also Barcher Bait... go figure!
    Town Hall 7 - My Answer to Barcher raids
    Base generated like 30+ Defense Wins a season. And could have done more if my clan was more active with those CC troops and was less lazy about breaking shield.

    Right now, in a nice and easy spot, with a good strong base, Gold III is a nice area for me to sit. Though was in Silver I for awhile to test that area... Idk how my clan mate managed to find loot in Silver I as a TH8 This season, without trying too hard, I have 17 Defense Wins right now, and could easily have more before it ends. I could likely generate more if I didn't collect from my mines and collectors, and really attract those farmers.

    So yeah, I may not be a total expert on Defense Win, since I know some that have put more thought into things, but I do have a good amount of experience with it.

    You just have to understand WarrenJames. Him and I butted heads the first town we encountered each other in a thread. He may come off a certain way but it's not always intended like that.

    Thanks the idea does need a bit more tweaking, but I hope it'll still encourage players to look for troohys more defensively.

    I was actually refering to the negativity guy, Medici. Not Warren. WarrenJames also had some building ideas.
